How To Have Better Posture?

I have pretty slouchy posture, when I sit, stand, walk or whatever. I am pretty fit and everything, but I just can’t seem to get in the habit of standing straight-I don’t usually realize I’m slouching until someone points it out. Any tips?? Thanks :)

Try shifting your weight from one leg to the other every once in a while. Find a nice balance, also, leaning against wall with your back as straight as is comfertable. Not sitting on the edge of your seat but your back against the rest. Wear heals if your a girl, they force you to stand straight.

I had the same problem until recently. Go on the internet and scare yourself with pictures of people that had bad posture for years. It could end up in a lot of healthy problems and then put a red bad or something around your arm and every time that you look at it, remind yourself to walk up straight.

Oh and this is going to take time. Took me 3 months before I actually managed to walk up straight all the time. Also try yoga and pilates classes. They really help for bad posture.

I recently bought a pair of Sketchers Shape Ups shoes. Supposedly, they help improve your posture and strengthen your legs, back and abs. They feel a bit funny when I walk in them, but they seem to help. You might want to check them out. They cost about $120 though :(
