How do you lose 20 pounds in 2 weeks?

Answer #1

Dont know, but wouldnt it be great.not very safe though, especialy if you have a family to look after,I think you would be drained and tired.

Answer #2

yea I’ve tried the Atkins diet but I only lost like 5 lbs in like 6 weeks although I was kind of hoping to lose a little more. It was really challenging for me because I started to really see how many carbs I did eat before the diet and cutting them out was really difficult

Answer #3

If you want to do it the healthy way the most fat you can loose in 2 weeks is 2-6 pounds and thats with the perfect diet and excersize or else you take the vitemins out of your muscles and its not healthy. If you have anyother questions you can funmail me.

CUT OUT ALL BREADS, POTATOES, AND SWEETS. EXCERSISE 30-45 MINUTES EVERY DAY, (WALKING, SWIMMING, ETC.) WILL DO, NO HARSH WORKOUTS. AND TRY TO STAY AWAY FROM THE RED MEATS.

Answer #6

You can either go on a juice fast for 2 weeks OR exercise 60 mins. a day, 5 days a week for 2 weeks. Do not do them both at the same time.

Answer #7

Answer #8

amphetamines and bullimia.. not a good idea though!

Answer #9

im not sure where use are located but I know in australia we have a product called optifast its a milkshake meal replacement there is loads. I can vouch for the optifast shakes as I lost 28 kgs in 8 weeks, not healthy I know but I was obese and at severe risk of diabetes type 2 which my brother has got, they are very very hard at the start but after 10 days they are very good and do fill you up, I was doing intensive training by running 5 kms every night and swimming 2 kms every morning while just on the milkshakes, they cut your calorie intake down to 450 calories a day so if your doing intensive training it is importan to feed the body more calories otherwise you are completely drained and tired all the time, so I suggest light excercise eg: walking for 20 minutes a morning and jogging for 10 minutes a night and sticking to the milkshakes

Answer #10

I don’t have an answer of how to lose 20 pounds in two weeks, because that is extremely unhealthy. But I lost 40 pounds in only four months from my own diet. Actually, I don’t like to call it a “diet” but more a way of life. I was sick of being overweight, and sluggish. I also wanted to improve my sports ability. So I cut out ALL refined sugars. I felt great and lost 40 lbs. in only four months, the healthy way, and I got to see it all go away. I still continue this way of eating, and it has worked for me.

Answer #11

The risks involved with losing that much weight that quickly are so massive that the SAFEST alternative would be to amputate your leg. Don’t pick your dominant limb though. That would be just silly.

Answer #12

walk 7 miles every day

Answer #13

hey there, there are many different ways that you can loose weight, however, the aim is to stay healthy, and maintain anough nutrients in your diet. I am currently on the Paleo diet. Which to its name is not actually a diet. its a eating plan that cuts out saturated fats, carbs, grains, processed foods, dairy, and sugars. I know this sounds daunting, but the idea of the plan is that we have evolved to be able to live off these food groups (carbs, sugars etc etc) when we dont need to. The caveman ate fruits, vegetables, red meat, and white meat, adn this has been seen to have the best effect on the human body.

The paleo diet will ultimately switch the bodies running source from carbs to fats, meaning everything you do will burn fat. AND because you wont be eating carbs, carbs wont make you hungry.

there are some rules that you MUST abide by: NO TO: dairy (milk, cheese, butter, etc), processed foods (that one should be obvious.. note: deli meats are processed), carbs & grains (corn, bananas, potato, pasta, wheat, bread, and any flours and baking goods etc), sugars & fats: NOTE: sugars are obvious, chocolate, acidic fruits (like oranges, lemon limes), BUT im regards to fats SATURDATED FATS ARE BAD. this is anything in processed foods. beans and legumes: this includes cashews, beans and bean sprouts.

YES TO: fruits and vegetables, eggs, avocadoes (EXCLUDING corn, bananas, potatoes, and acidics), nuts (but only include almonds, walnuts, and nuts that are not concitered beans or legumes), red meat (but cut off the fat, and cook in vegetable oil, as vegetable oils are GOOD FATS), white meat that is fresh (prawns, fish, seafood in general). water.

This paleo challenge MUST be adhered to for one month, to work. NO CHEATING!! THEN you can go back to your old eating habits, or stay paleo. Trust me, you won’t want to go back. you feel to much better! NOTE:: THE FIRST TWO WEEKS WILL SUCK LIKE NOTHING ELSE! this is because your body is switching its energy source. Some people react worse to this than others. NOTE:: you can eat AS MUCH AS YOU WANT of the ‘’YÉS’’ foods. and try to eat every 3-4 hourse depending on your body size. bigger people (muscle or build wise) will need more food, smaller people will need less food. My advise: eat until you are full, eat when you are hungry.

GOOD LUCK! please feel free to funmail me any results and successes you have, OR if you need any advise, or simply want to talk about it. thanks! xx

Okayy..I found this on the “Sacred Heart Medical Diet” thingy..

The Sacred Heart Diet is a fad diet that has been circulating for many years. The diet was supposedly thought to come from the cardiology department at Sacred Heart Memorial Hospital where it was used for overweight heart patients. However, like most of these diets - this is an urban myth.

The Sacred Heart Diet has been called a number of different names (such as the Spokane Heart Diet, the Cleveland Clinic Diet, Sacred Heart Memorial Hospital Diet and the Miami Heart Institute Diet). The diet also bears a striking resemblance to the cabbage soup diet.

Background of the Diet The Sacred Heart diet is a soup-based diet, and claims that you will lose 10-17 pounds in the first week. This may be true, but most of the weight will tend to be water - and will be gained right back very soon after the diet.

This diet is very clearly an unsustainable fad diet, but is not as nutritionally unsound as similar diets. Most of these diets claim some magical fat-burning science is involved, or that there is something special about the combination of foods. This is simply untrue - it is nothing more complex than a reduction in calories!

&& it said its not a recommended diet and it tells you specifically what to eat on this website..http://www.everydiet.org/diet/sacred-heart-diet

Answer #15

Really, you only lost ten pounds in two weeks. Normally on low carb diets the first 10 lbs you lose is just water weight. Look it up.

Answer #18

dont not eat, thats the first wrong move you can make eat foods that are more filling, with less bad stuff (fat, sugars, etc) make sure you eat 4-6 small meals a day, and exercise frequently dont try any of the dangerous diets only shoot for 1-2 pounds lost weekly, more can be extremely unhealthy and dangerous to you

hope this helps

Answer #20

Greetings, -Naturally, I don’t think it would be healthy to lose 20 pounds in two weeks just so you know. But one way would be to change lifestyle, such as eating less, and more healthy food. Excercise on a machine built for aerobic/cardiovascular fitness. -Hope my advice helps you in your travels= D -phil2611

Answer #21

Don’t Eat besides things like fruits and veggies but careful some have a lot of calories, its not good to do it for a long time but a week or 2 wont hurt drink LOTS of water and a cup or some kind of juice in the morning, if your going to do it DO NOT eat any candy or junk food at all till your done and after only eat like a bite. exercise for a good amount of time as long as you can go, do it at least 5 days a week or 7, I’ve done this and lost 10 lbs the first week and 6-7 the second week, but I didn’t exercise
