Build up your confidence. For example go and do something out of your comfort zone, something that you’ve always wanted to do but was too scared to try out. You need to start feeling comfortable with yourself and that is what will happen if you build up your confidence. You should then start too feel more comfortable speaking to people.

usually I know a lot of friends who are shy. try to get enough courage to make a friend with a person that is the total oposite of you eventually you will catch on to their ways and you will overcome it. I am totally not a shy person but everyone gets first day jitters somehow.

Answer #4

haha, I don’t know about you but , I just go up to random people an talk to them, like, I have to gather a lot of courage, but its like, if they think bad of me, sure a care a little but, how bad will it change my life ? HARDLY

Answer #5

Part of the thing about being shy is that you build up all this tension into things.

Just know that just going up and talking to people isn’t going to make them think that you’re some psycho weirdo and stalking them for all you’re worth. It’s just not. If it’s a guy, saying a friendly ‘hey’ in the hallway isn’t going to make him think that you’ve got a whopper-sized crush on him (even if you really do)

Think of it as a dare : )
