How do you factor rational exponents?

I really don’t know how and would like to know if anyone has any idea how An example is like, 64x^3-125=0

Answer #1

uhm ok, if I understood the question, it’s 64 x cubed minus 125?

  1. add 125 to both sides 64x^3 = 125

  2. if you notice each number is a cube of another number… (4 cubed is 64, 5 cubed is 125) 4^3 x^3=5^3

  3. Cube root each side 4x=5

  4. x=5/4

Im not sure if you were looking for the x? or if you just wanted to put it into a simpler form?
