How do you factor -8x + 24x - 18?

Who can factor this question for me im in grade 11 but this is also apart of the grade 10 math. and please show the steps. thank you.

. if the answer is -2(2x-3)² then either: . (a) you misread the question and it actually says factorize -8x² + 24x - 18; or . (b) they missed the “square it” exponent out of the question; or . (c) they didn’t miss out the square it exponent and you didn’t misread the question, but you forgot to include the square it exponent when you typed out your original question, in order to post it to FunAdvice. . My guess is you mistyped it - and mistyped again, when you missed out the minus sign in front of the given solution that you subsequently specified. .
