ok. so I'm not a prep. I don't like pink. we're building a new house and I'm going to have my bedroom down in the basement so I'll be away from everybody. I want dark colors. or actually... red black and white. NO BUTTERFLIES OR ANY OF THAT CRAP. it's gonna be moderatly big, but no black walls because that'd make it look smaller. and I'm claustophobic. DX
so I need looots of detail. not just something like "oh. red walls black bed white floor."
I'm gonna have hardwood on the floor anyways. dark I'm pretty sure. to give you an idea. there'll obviously be a window so I need curtain ideas too :) so if you have pics for ideas and stuff, or you could just give me a lot of detail, that'd be awesommme . thanksss :]

Dark hardwood floors White furniture Black wrought iron bed with white sheer flowing canopy/scarves Red, black and white patterned comforter set Black rugs Sheer flowing white curtains White wallpapered walls with little black designs A few red accents, like toss pillows on the bed or a red picture/painting on the wall
A very sophisticated look you'll never outgrow without a single butterfly or ounce of pink. :)

I think purple would be an exellent colour for your room its not too dark and not too light either
you could go by the thing that intrest her the most
