How can my husband get custdy of his boys?

We have the boy almost everyday. When the boys are sick she brings them to us, I take the boys to school, sporting events, and Im even the one that goes to their things at school. My husband works and Im a stay at home mom. Then only time she wants the boys is when she needs maoney and says we owe her child support. Why do we have to pay child support when we have the kids?

your husband is not leagally obligated to pay child support unless it is court ordered. has the woman ever taken him to court so that she could start recieving child support? it sounds to me that you and your husband are practically the boys parents already so I say if you and your husband are serious about the adoption then do it. you can look in the phonebook for lawyer. give one a call. also it sorta sounds like the woman has a drug problem from the way you wrote the question…if thats the case your husband would almost for sure win the custady battle. but before you do anything I would ask the child how he would feel about the adoption, even if he is young

ok im not getting what your asking as its very jumbled up and your saying your husband is a she :S

but my mom has worked for the DHSS now known as the DSS all her life.. she works in the CSA part: child support agency and I can tell you now that if the child is living with you then you dont need to be paying child support cus the child is actually with you so theres no support needed.

He needs to go to court, hire a lawyer, and fight for custody. In the meanwhile start to document your case. The number of days and evenings the kids spent with you. The sporting events you took him too. The times she brought them over because they were sick. Etc.
