How can I tone up?

Okay so I’m not trying to see how I can lose weight or anything because I’m very happy with myself right now. I just have a few areas that I’d like to tone up: my lower stomache like below my bellybutton, and my inner/upperthighs and my butt.

Any suggestions? I’m not looking for a diet or anything. Just some exercises I can do at my house.

hey squatting is worse for your knees

do pulates… outer extended push-ups… hangtimes

if you’re just looking to tone abs, pulates is your best bet, if your toning legs, like the dude above me said lunges, jogging, walking, etc. stay away from weights while just toning!

when toning remember you’re tightening your body muscles, therefore using weight to increase your bodies existing mass, will just tone you at a more advanced stage than what you’re really at. use only your body weight for any resistance.

Do leg lifts for your lower stomach - make sure you do it slow and flex the entire time. Do 3 sets every other day and about 10-20 reps each.

I’d do squats for your legs or leg presses because basically you just want to tone your legs up. You can also do lunges. But vary the lunges at different angles. Instead of going straight forward everytime, do a 45 degree angle to the side and straight out to your side will both work different muscle.

Again, do it slow and about 3-5 sets of 20 reps each. Add weights as necessary…2x a week.

Another good exercise is the step-up like stairs but a little higher…it’ll work your glutes very well if you add weight…do about 8-10 reps, 3-4 sets each. 2x a week

P.S. walking or stepping lunges are bad for your knees…

Yeah what you want is excercises that consist of lots of reps. Like instread of lifting a bunch of weight and doing 5 reps you go lower so its easy and do like 20 for each set. You can run or you can do some situps, pushups, nothing real straining. You should also stretch a lot too.
