Herniated disc

Wwe superstar john cena is sufferin a herniated disc…what is that..and pls be elementry explainin it I dont really understand medical terms lol thanks

A herniated disk is very very painful (I have back problems so I know back pain) anyways in simple terms a herniated disk is: 

 A herniated disk happens from the natural use (wear and tear) of the spine. Each disk has a rough other layer that protects a very soft inner core of the disk. As people get older (or play really rough sports/ other reasons/  extreme movies--John Cena in the Marine)  the rough outer layers becomes really hard and it starts cracking like an egg shell. When this happens the soft squishy inner core starts to kinda leak out though the cracks. This is what a herniated disk is.

quite painful and no fun; usually people get surgery for it and go through pain management for treatment.
