How do you deal with back pain from a herniated disk?

How do you stop your back from hurting? I have a herniated disk and my back hurts really bad. Any tips?

You can buy one of those electric shock things that you put on your back. I’ve tried it before on my back. It worked. I have no idea what they’re called though. Don’t put it on your forehead though. I put it on my cousin’s forehead on the highest setting. He screamed. lol.(:

also a physical therapist would really help and that machine is awesome I had to use it at the physical therapist when I threw out my back (yes I know I’m only 21) also you should do basic streches nothing to strainful but it will help.
