Can my friend move out without getting into trouble?

Ok my friend is 16 and her mom gave her permition and signed papers for her to drop out of school. She was told that since her mom did that she was alowed to move out but shes not shure. I tried to help her by calling legal aid but they were no help. Dose any one know if she can move out with out getting in trouble.

Very sad - can’t imagine why a parent would agree to ‘education not required’ for their daughter - very sad - hope she will pursue an education rather than ‘hit the streets’…I wish you and your friend the best !!

Answer #2

her mom is sopost to sign the papers no matter what because nobody going to let her live some were unless its a relative or a friend without her being 18

Answer #4

Well, it sounds like if her mom didn’t care enough about her to sign papers to let her drop out of school, she probably won’t care enough about her to report her if she moves out.

I don’t think she should move out though. It’s hard out there in the real world. Tell her Good luck.
