HELP I'M WORRIED!!! Can internal organs repair themselves?

Okay I know this is a weird but I need to know if the colon / bowel can repair itself.

Like if you get a cut on your skin it heals … does the same thing happen to internal organs?

I really don’t know. It really depends on how badly you hurt yourself, if it is only some VERY light bruising, then yes it will probably heal, otherwise no. Please don’t mess with your colon/bowel. I have IBS because I didn’t take care of myself properly,so be careful and if you need to go see a doctor.

Usually for large internal organs you’ll have to have surgery.depending on how bad the damage. But as for the colon/bowel…better go to a doctor.

Well let me tell you I have Crohn’s disease and my large intestine burst open because of an abscess and I had to get 1/3 of it removed along with my appendix. Why do you think it’s damaged? Have you seen a doctor?

the main problem with internal injuries is the fact that blood can get into places where it shouldnt…

if you have had a tear in your bowel then you need to go to a doctor for check up ASAP because the tear might become bigger, or worse infected… actually both are equally bad…

you might need stitches and it aint gonna be nice…

again straight away to the doc!
