I'm panicking I'm pregnant. HELP!

ok urm.. my boyfriend and I first did it on 29th of august. we have always used protection and I went on the pill about 2 weeks ago now. before I went on the pill ( orvanette) I had taken a test, it came back negative and I hadn’t missed a period. I started the pill on my period and I was told I was instantely safe, around 5 days after my boyfriend and I kindof had unprotected but we didn’t let him get near ejaculation. we did this again after about another week. every other time we have used protection. but my boobs have grown and I dont have much of an apetite but I have cravings. I have recently taken abother test that has also came back negative. I am just worried as an area below my stomach but above my vagina (just above where pubic hair starts) has started to protude slightly. im told that its just fluid retention. but im panacking. im hoping someone can help! ill take another test in my gap week. am I jjust a paranoid teenager? help me please! as soon as would be great! thanks ! x

when you take birth control pills they make you gain weight. so just work out more when you take them…it will help. you’ll be fine.good luck! :)

Answer #2

I will repeat what Colethky said at the end. Hormonal Birth control pills are not fully effective until you have been on then fo one full cycle.

You are supposed to use an additional form of birth control during that first month - condoms, oral sex instead, or abstinence.

Your symptoms should not be from pregnancy this soon.

Good Luck!!

This might sound weird but you are worried so much about being pregnant your having pregnant symptoms. My friend did the same thing she got the pregnant baby bump and her doctor told her it was just all in her head. But like the above post it’s just your birth control pills they should have told you that when you went in to get them. But if your truly worried go to a planned Parenthood and get a free pregancy test.

Birth control pills can make your breasts tender and mess with your appetite, that is normal. As for the “baby bump”…even if you were pregnant you would not have that yet, it’s way too early. Normally that doesn’t happen till around 3 months.

Most likely the symptoms are from your pills…and by the way, you should use some other form of protection for at least a month when you start birth control pills.
