How do you tell your mom you may be pregnant?

How do you tell your mom that you might be pregnant when you’re only 15???

Answer #1

Depends on your relationship with you mom. If you can tell your mom anything and she already knows you are sexually active than go ahead and tell her your concerns. If your relationshipo is already strained than like Locoluna said: take a pregnancy test and find out for sure before you do anything.

If you are pregnant than you will probably need to tell your mom right away. If your mom is the type that might do something like abuse you or throw you out of the house you might want to try to figure out what you will do in that possibility before telling her.

One warning. If you go to a clinic to get a pregnancy test make sure it is a legetimate clinic. Hopefully one ran by Planned Parenthood. If you go to a “Crisis Pregnancy Center” than these are run buy “Pro-Live” zealots who will use it as an opportunity to shame you into having this baby. Some of these places will even advertise with things like “abortion services” when they do not provide abortions. The “abortion services” they provide is propoganda against the proceedure.

Answer #3

1st…find out if you are pregnant for sure..take a test or go see your doctor to confirm it. 2nd…you have to be honest with your mum and just tell her, if you wanted to play with fire and then deal with the burn you have to take responsibilty for it and own up to it.

Answer #4

I fully agree with locoluna and how long do you think you can hide the pregnancy from her? Your belly is going to grow you know. She will notice something is different about you, missed periods, larger breats you can’t hide under baggy clothes you know. Be honest with her.

Answer #5

you need support to do this. find a mature adult to support you for the moment you tell your mom.

it is always best to give and receive news like this with people there to support us.

your mom will want to react to this and that is ok so when thins news sinks in you can decide what your options are, together. you are very young and many people will want you to bear their pressure so thank them all and dont decide anything on the spot. be prepared to state that you are going to ask for their patience, you are going to take your time with this, and you need time to think.
