I am 17 and I go to college. I live on my own and I have a job. I turn 18 in september, but thats still 3 months away, by that time I will be about 6 months. I am pregnant and my boyfriend is 21. Legally I am still bound to my mom until I turn 18. my boyfriend wants to be here for the baby and he loves me and wants to marry me but how do I tell my mom that I am pregnant without her getting him into trouble. I cant lose him and I want him here for the baby. Help!

Answer #4

Hun, don’t freak out. I was in the same situation as you. I was 17 and pregnant and my boyfriend You just have to tell your mom, I know it won’t be easy, but trying having your boyfriend there when you tell her. She will be mad at first, disappointed, but that’s her grandchild inside of you, she will come around.. take her to the ultrasounds and include her in the little things that pregnancy brings along. Your young and in college and it’s hard. I am in the same situation. Just keep your head up. I am 19 now, married, live on my own and have a beautiful 10 month old baby! Nothing is impossible.. but your going to want your mom there when you give birth and when you just need a little time alone..

GOOD LUCK!
