How long would it take to adopt my friend's baby?

However you could look after a baby providing you can prove that you are capable indoing so, you can do this under short term fostering, you have to inform the council and social servises, but it can be done … I think it is lovely that your friend has you. you do this short so that it would pose no problems at all. this could also help keep mum and baby together in the future.. think twice about being perswaded in giving up this baby, you could be the answer in helping mum and baby stay together by short term fostering.. take care

I am adopting my friend’s baby and we are doing it through an online agency. It is between friends so the lawyer said we could do the papers ourself.

I am under the emotional stress of anticipating and wanting this baby so basd and I am putting my faith in God and my trust in my best friend.

Don’t give up just trust your heart and pray lots!! I will hopefully be a Mommy to a baby boy by November.

It is very kind of you to want to take care of the baby. But since you are not able to do so there are many people that can help. Most churches and youth organizations have a list of adoption agencies. They are friendly, private, nonprofit, and willing to help. Their are different types of adoption. These can get a little confusing if your on your on. If she nor the father wants the baby please seek advice from one of the agencies. There are hundreds of people who can’t have kids that would give the baby a wonderful safe home.

well… my uncle and aunt adopted a kid but it cost about $25,000 dollars. I don’t know if it costs that much for everyone but do you have that kind of money to spend?
