What was your best ever (and harmless) Halloween trick?

Well one yr my bro was hideing in the bushes waitin for me to come home. I got home bout midnight, I heard rustleing in the bushes, I went to see wat it was and b4 I cud get thr to the bushes he came runnin at me with a chainsaw!!!!!!

Play scary music and come outta nowhere and scream

Sit on the porch in a full costume looking like a dummy and scaring a few people. .. they ate it up

We don’t have Halloween over here.

But we have “Walpurgisnacht” (witches night) on the night of April 30 to May 1st. Where the witches come and do all sorts of mischievous magic. (Of course it’s not real witches but people playing tricks on their neighbors. The main thing is, be creative.) Carrying garden benches or bicycles onto dandruff roofs is a common gag. But you can do anything as long as you don’t destroy other folks property and don’t get caught.

One time, I went to a neighbors house and filled the trash cans with soil completely and then planted flowers in them.

Another time, we abducted all the garden gnomes in the street and arranged them to look like they had had an excessive boozy session on the grass in front of our streets playground.

Another year, somebody (not me) colored the neighbors rabbits green with hair color. So mean. :(

I dressed up as Michael Myers one night, went over to my gfs house where she was with her friends having a girls night, I turned off their power via the fuse box and then stood by the window, her friend walked past and saw my white mask and screamed blue murder, then I got into the house, walked up to them, took out a knife (it was a cardboard knife with tin foil wrapped around it but the handle was real) I walked up to my ex…cornered her, took the mask off and kissed her, she kissed me back, then gave me a swift kick to the balls

Ahh, the kind of goodl-humored tricks I like {:^) Even the rabbits probably didn’t mind (or notice) being green, dontcha think? But what the heck is a “dandruff roof”?? Over here dandruff means the flakes of skin from your scalp that cling in your hair until they fall like snow onto your black clothing.

My translator said it was the little house in the garden where you put spades and such tools. Fck my translator. The stuff that flld from your hair is “die Schuppen” in german, the little house is “der Schuppen”. facepalm*

Ah, the shed. Interesting; one “sheds” dandruff (like a snake sheds its skin, etc.). I never thought before about how the noun and verb meanings of shed are related. I guess the shed serves to shed precipitation off the roof, thereby protecting the garden tools? Anyway, thanks for the puzzle!
