Why are all these strange (paranormal) things happening to me?

okay so since my dad passed away.. im pretty sure paranormal things are suppose to happen.. but since my mom has work on the weekends && im alonee.. like my grandfather haddd to leavee. my dad passed away and the only small protection i had was the dog.. but she died 2 weeks after my dad did.. sooo.. yea i am pretty much by myself with 3 cats aha.. but starting todayy things have been happening & scarying the trash out of mee.. like okayy i was washing my clothes and i went out of my room to the laundry room.. i was in the hallway of my housee & my laptop was upp soo cuz i WAS on the internet.. well wen i put the volume up it makes a noise.. like a chime.. well i walked out of my room and i heard that chime noise and i got veryy scared since my dad has been messing with technology latelyy or alottttt. and i got freaked out and called my mom.. sooo after that my boyfriend and his mom camee over to watch a movie with me since i was boredd and lonely i needed ppl over at my housee.. and we were watching shallow hal. & we were in the den watchin the movie.. and the den was the only place my dad would be at.. so it was practically his room.. and half way to the movie.. there is a hallway to the den to my parents bedroom.. and we all heard a weird creek.. like loud and long creek.. it wasnt the bed cuz the bed doesnt creek.. but it sounded like him scratching the walls.. and all the cats were sleeping so i know they didnt do it. and we all looked at each other in like frightness.. well when me and my boyfriend were talkinn.. in the den.. it was weird cuz i thought we heard the front door open up.. or sumone try to get in and we were soo freaked out.. but it wasnt my boyfriends mom cuz she was with us.. but just now a few min agoo i was using the potty cuz i had to tinkle really bad lol.. & i heard loud freakin foot steps in the kitchen.. since the bathroom and the kitchen or dining room is almost togetherr. and i kept the bathroom door open so i couuld be with the cats cuz i was scared.. while i was washing my hands i heard the foot steps.. cuz my dad made loud foot steps.. but now im on the fone with my mom and jesus.. im so scaredddd!!!!!! so yea is this stuff like paranormal or what?

I honestly don’t have the answers to this question. I know a few people who lost someone close in their family but never heard of them having weird things happen to them. It could honestly be all in your head and those noises you hear just give you reasons to believe it’s “paranormal” stuff going on like I always hear my floors creek and sometimes scary sounds at night or for a minute I’ll think that I’ve seen a shadow that’s not mine or that someone else is in the house cause of the silence in my home at night so any noise I hear, I go extremly insane. but I heard once that demons are around all over the world tricking people and scaring them but we’ll never know, it’s all a trip.

Maybe you just miss him so much that you’re using all of these creaks and noises- the house settling- and turning them into ‘paranormal experiences’ because you want to believe that he’s still with you. I don’t mean to be rude, but it’s plausible.

But, if you really believe he’s haunting your house or something and that he’s making those noises, just think of it this way! Why would your dad want to hurt you, right? So don’t be scared :]

The most likely thing is that you feel alone and vulnerable and with your senses and imagination heightened you hear and feel things you interpret as paranormal.

uhmm my mom loves paranormal shows. so i always watch them with her. but i cant watch them by myself. i get scared easy aha

Maybe you should watch something different for a while. Try some disney or something. :)

Paranormal shows and movies are not a good thing to watch, especially for your situation. They can really get to you and make you have horrific dreams and visions, that can haunt you for the rest of your life. People have even gotten possessed from watching them. I would really recommend you stop watching them.

First of all; I’m very sorry for your loss.

lost my mom just 6 weeks ago, and I keep hearing her voice calling my name and stuff like that,,, BUT, I know that this is just my imagination. I hear her because I want to hear her.

I miss my mom like hell, so of course my mind will play tricks on me, and make me believe that I hear my her whenever I hear something that can remind me of her.

I guess this will pass after a while, just as it most likely will do for you :-)

I’m sooooo sorry for your loss. It could be your mind jumping to conclusions or maybe not. Try contacting the spirit. If you get a convincing reply from the other side hey maybe you do have a ghost. Good luck. Some advice if it is a ghost confront it and set boundaries with it you control it not the other way around. Oh and give the spirit its space. It doesn’t sound angry. If it is a spirit it just wants to be noticed.
