What will happen to those people who die without knowing any religion?

Answer #1

Everyone will have a different answers to this question, cause everyone has different religions.

Answer #2

That is exactly what I want to know, different opinion. do not want to just believe to what this man just said :)

Answer #3

Don’t know but I wish them well

Answer #4

They will be as dead as everyone else who died.

Maybe they will feel unhappy before they die, because they believe that it’s the end and there is no afterlife. But then, maybe they enjoy life more than religious folks, because they believe that there is no heaven that they will go to.

What happens to these people after they die? Well depending on your faith, their souls will either be reborn as a mule, be destined for hell, be punished in purgatory, be lost in the limbo or just dissolve into nothingness…

Just like everyone else, btw.

Because, whatever you believe in, whatever you act like in life, there are dozens of religions that say you’re going to hell or a similar place or that you are going to be punished for wrong behavior according to their rules. Whether it’s bad karma or the anger of the “one and only” god. You just can’t live a life that would make you a good person in all the worlds religions.

That basically means either everyone (or almost everyone in case one of the many religions of earth really is the “true faith”) is destined to a bad afterlife OR no one is.

Of course, it would also be possible that everyone goes to the place that they believe they will go to. In that case, the atheists souls will just cease to exist.

Cool :)

Answer #6

Same thing that happens to people who do follow a religion…nothing. They’ll go into the ground and rot or be cremated. There’s no such thing as an “afterlife” thats just wishful thinking to help people cope with their lives or feel less afraid of dying.

Answer #7

Atheism rulez! :-D

Answer #8

You will cease to exist, just like everyone else. There is nothing that suggests there is an afterlife, and until I see proof (which, if anyone ever does, they would not be able to tell you) I will not believe it. I think it will be like before you were born: nothingness.

Answer #9

Im not an “atheist” I dont label myself as anything, but human, and I’ll live and die like every other human being did before me.

Answer #10

They will be judged according to their intentions and deeds. Don not worry about them God is just and merciful =)

“When we leave this womb,” said the first twin, “we’ll enter a new world and we’ll eat from our mouths and breathe through our noses. We will see far away objects with our eyes and hear with our ears. Our legs will straighten and we will stand erect and walk for distances on a gigantic nurturing earth full of oceans and mountains. Above us there will stretch a sky filled with countless twinkling diamonds.”

“You are so naive my poor brother,” replied the second twin. “Why must you clutter your mind with useless fantasies? The future for us is simple and obvious. After this life there is death. We are torn away from this world where our food is provided and we will fall into nothingness from which there is no return.”

In the heat of the argument, the womb suddenly opens. The “naive” brother slips and falls through the opening. The other brother hears screams and cries and trembles with fear for his brother as well as for himself. He is shattered by the tragedy. But outside, at that very moment, there are tears of joy and celebration at the birth of a new baby.

There is a bridge to the other side.

The song version by Dana Mase, starting with the Jewish lore that in the womb we learn the whole Torah of our lives from an angel, can be heard here: http://funadvice.com/r/bjimiglh56p

I think there is an after life. Just think about it , where will we go ? there is nothing but nothingness !!! if we think this way life will become very dull and miserable. I am christian and the Bible says that there is an after life where believers will live in eternal happiness praising Jesus. Not only that, people on their death bed see visions about jesus coming to take them , light and an open door. This is based on a personal experience, both my mother and grandmother saw these visions. My comfort is that pain on this earth is temporary , but i will live in eternal happiness with my savior and my beloved ones who left before me….
