Ghetto

Ok a while back I was playing a game on my gameboy advance even though the game was actually for the original gameboy.well at one point my friend came over and asked if he could play with it and pretty soon he told me “this is ghetto”. What did he mean by that because I’m not used to hearing that word.

Generally, the term is used to label something that is old, outdated, or no longer “cool”.

Exactly what ichibanarky said, it’s outdated. People refer to things as “ghetto” when they are old, broken, trashy, outdated, etc.
