Free verse poem..."Another Me" thoughts??

I wish I was another person One who I could love For I would know just what I want And I understand every thought

But you don’t You have your own opinions And hear only what you want But its never what I mean

If I fell in love with myself I would be forever happy With no feelings to hide For I would know just what I was to say

So I long for the person Who is exactly like I Because they will know my every move And know the reasons for each one

I wish it was that easy To fall for myself But I know that it won’t happen For I can’t love myself like that

I wish you understood Every reason and motive That you could read between the lines Like my other self would be able to

So another chance I try To find my own mirror So I can fall in love With myself, for once
