Forgiveness

If they’ve done something to harm you, have you considered getting even (in a legal way), or at least treating them like pariahs?

You’re actually doing people a favor when you retaliate (within reason), because it makes them think twice about their actions. The “turn the other cheek” thing is overrated.

just keep praying, and remember the devil fights against you too. hes going to do everything he can to interfere (sorry I cant spell it) he’s going to try his best to get you away from God, meaning he is going to put all these thoughts in your head to make your doubt. God will bring you through it, dont give up on him. b/c when you decode to give up on him that may be when God was going to end it all. GOd doesn work on our time and He knows wats best for you. keep your trust in Christ and keep praying. DONT GIVE UP, thats the worse thing you could ever do. he didnt give up on you, he knows what youre going through more than anyone else does.

I have a short story for you. I just found out my cousin in Mexico was killed by possibly gangsters or some circle of hateful people. They tortured her before killing her. So if you ask me about forgiveness. It isn’t easy I know. I had to go and meditate like the person above me states. I had to view them as people who need help. Who knows how they got to be so hateful. My cousin didn’t deserve to die the way she did. I decided I can’t forgive alone. I have to ask the power of God to help me view them as he would. We are all children of God. Therefore if you view these people as God’s children who happen to be lost in this vengeful state. Just pray for them. I did. I feel so much better. It doesn’t mean you trade them for your loved one. I just know that God can heal them and get them to their senses about the horrible things they did. They will have to live with what they did not you. So let them live with how they are and you are not responsible. I have horrible neighbors that have done things I wouldn’t do back. I just see them as immature. I can’t get down to their level. Pray for them. Hope this helps, Mama K

hey God cant help cause he’s not real. Your the only one that can let it go. Try meditation. try talking to a profesional. They dont judge you and wont put you on meds without your premission. you choses what bothers you. what makes you hate so much? is it people pickin on you or what? try just worring what makes you happy and the ones you care about, forget everyone else. Trust me I’ve been there. People just wouldn’t leave me alone, kept messing with me to the point that I felt like an animal was going to rip out of me. Then I realized that I didn’t want to be that way. when someone is bothering you jsut walk away and don’t give them the power to p*ss you off. Look you cant change others. the best thing you can do is change your self to where it dosen’t effect you. Try calming things close your eyes and count to 10 walks help, music. Just find what makes you happy. I hope this helps.

If you can view them, as they really are, as minions of Satan, being used by him ,even if they do not realize it, and the fate that they face, and then, think about the love of God, and how much humans really mean to him.

Seperate who they are, from what they did, and it may help.

If you can see that people.. really aren’t evil… it is the spirit that is living within them, that does all the evil. They are just puppets.

If you can see and picture what hell is really about, and how awful it is, and how permanent it is, and how truly holy our God is, and how, if they do not repent… there is no changing their fate.. once they leave this planet called earth… there is no coming back.

Type into your browser something like, video of hell, or to hell and back, and read the stories of the ones who have been allowed to actually see and experience hell for themselves… this will help you to give this over to God, instead of harboring unforgiveness. God can’t go to work on them, until you or me, are able to forgive them, and pray for them, so, they are stuck in their sins, unless we intercede.

If you can truly grasp the entirety of this, you may begin to start on the journey that you desire.

Over and over… when people do us wrong… just like Jesus does.

However even with the understanding, we still need Gods help in being able to accomplish this, and he knows that, so, I believe he will meet you at your point of need. In times past, when I was struggling with this, I would offer up a prayer, asking for Gods help in this, and telling him that it was my will… to forgive, even though I was still having trouble doing so, and then, ask him for him to forgive them, thru you. or to enable you to forgive. He will, and then, you can.

Thru his power, and by his spirit.

However, remove yourself from the situation, if possible, in the case of an ongoing problem, where the unforgiveness is continually stirred up within you. Go to a peaceful place.

Was there a specific thing that was done to you? You can pray to God to deal with those issues…but it sounds like the offence continues… if that is the case you should confront the perpetrators.. Just remember that forgiveness is for you…the hurts will remain…but God can help you deal with it… It’s like this…you talk to God and tell him you forgive those people but they still need to deal with God…you can talk to those people and tell them you forgive them …they may not get “it”…understand …but you did your part…so then you are free …God forgives you of all the things you’ve ever done wrong…bye the way turning the cheek doesn’t mean letting yourself be a doormat!!! stand up for what is right…not simply being a bystander… One never forgets either! just don’t try to get revenge it only hurts you… hope this helps… read …these scripts…matthew 5:44,45…mark 11:25…matthew 6:14…romans 12:20…luke 6:35-38 and proverbs 20:22
