Christians: if God is willing to forgive our sins?

Well, if you have full coverage on your car, are you going to go crash it into a lake?

Why do what your parents tell you not to even though they are still going to love you either way?

Because God hates sin and we as Christians are to also - Love the person but hate the sin - a person once saved (see John 3 : 16), they no longer has the desire to repeat sin because they are a changed person in their heart, mindset, attitude, no longer desire worldly things or approval of this world, for the Holy Spirit now lives within them - their new desire then is to only do or say that which pleases the Lord Jesus Christ - old things have passed away. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Who said you’re sinning on purpose? Its like why would I pay attention in class, when I already have an A. Why would you lead a life without sin, if He’s willing to forgive and accept you.

I didnt mean if you sin that you do it on purpous, the question is “why not sin if got will forgive you” which implies to me “why care what you do if yourgoing to be forgiven” and generally if yuou dont care what you do, you’ll do whatever you want on purpous and in this case, sinning.

Just because hes willing to forgive…does it really mean we should go out sinning on purpose?

Good point moe214! the fact is Jesus died for our sins, not so we can go and sin whenever we wanted. He died for the sins in which we are truely sorry for. TRUELY SORRY being key. =]. if we go out and sin ON PURPOUS just because, then we arent going to be sorry for it, right?
