Does it really make sense to you, that there is a god out there who purposely makes us one way and then holds us accountable for not acting against our nature?

You’re right. We don’t misrepresent our beliefs but we’re not God and we’re not perfect. Some Christians mix things up and don’t realize it. That does not mean that they aren’t a real Christian. I know what Christians you speak of. The same Christians that keep me from church. The condemning ones. As much as I ‘dislike’ them, I can’t say they aren’t real Christians. They just don’t understand how to reach people. On the last part..haven’t met many of those types of people.

Some sins are harder to overcome than others, and this one is at the top of the list. However, that does not mean that it is impossible.. exactly the opposite, because the word says that With God… all things are possible.

First you need to find a spirit filled church, that does not condemn, one that is willing to pray with you and stand with you, holding you accountable… for your decision.

Also, you more than likely will need to fast, to bring your flesh under subjection to the spirit. The bible says that the spirit is willing, but, the flesh is weak.

You need spiritual support to do this, if you seek it out, you will find that it is available. Stay in the word, and under annointed preaching/teaching, and with ones that love you, and will pray with you.

Homosexuality goes back to the dawn of time, back to cavemen, and humans are not the only animals to experience homosexuality. I have to comment…let’s really look at homosexuality and how we were created. We know that God sent us hear to take dominion over the earth and multiply. When He said multiply He was referring to us having children…is it at all possible for a man to impregnate a man…or women with a woman? NO! My believe is we are all born with a knowledge of what is good and what is bad. If you have to ask this question then maybe you all ready know the answer. Remember we are heavily influenced by media to such an extreme that we can’t see that homosexuality is, at the end of the day, lust! When people get there minds in order, then you will find the answer you are searching for.

Assuming THERE IS A GOD. (assuming. whatever you want to believe really)

Assuming GOD is real. Why WOULD”NT he Forgive you? for that matter, WHY would he even be Mad? I mean. God loves EVERYONE. and he MADE man in HIS image. so what would our sexual orientation matter? We act. and we do JUST what we were made to do.

Straight. Gay. Bi. whatever. god loves Everyone. what does it matter what our orientation is.

Who cares what the bible says. It also says God is all knowing, made everything, INCLUDING evil “I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.” ~*~Isaiah 45:7 He makes you, he knows you before you’re born, births you anyways knowing how you’re going to turn out, then throws you in hell because you’re not the way he wants you though he’s the one who made you…makes perfect since 1_~ screw the bible, the bible was made by MAN as long as you worship him, praise him, yada yada, if there is a God you’ll gain his favor.

First of all, God can forgive any sin as long as you accept that Jesus died to save you from your evil ways. Second, the Bible says many times that practicing homosexual sex is an abomination. It does not say that homos are abominations, only what they do. But the Bible also says that stealing and lying are abominations. Sin is equal in God’s eyes, so one sin is not greater than another.

In Genesis, Soddom was destroyed because some male travelers were staying with some friends. But all the town’s men, young and old, came to their door, wanting to have sex with them. But the angel inside came out and told them to turn from their wicked desires.

God loves you. I promise.

Don’t worry. There is no God. If you born gay be proud of that. I don’t understand how its anybody else business. Why suppress a natural part of you. If you denied you natural sexuality there won’t be some reward in the end. Just a life time of suppression and guilt. Why feel guilty? Cause some old man 1500 years ago said its wrong? Homosexuality is a natural thing. All I hear is that if you accept Jesus that you will be forgiven but that doesn’t change the fact that your gay.

No. In the Bible it clearly states that Christians must not be homosexual.

You have nothing to be sorry about. There is nothing for you to repent from or be “cured” for. Your lifestyle is perfectly natural, as nature itself has shown by the existence of thousands of species in which homosexuality exists. Continue in the lifestyle and sexual orientation you’re comfortable with, and ignore the inane ramblings of religious bigots.

We answer because some of us don’t think that religion is the answer to the question. The christian religion itself has made its position clear on homosexuality. Some of us believe that homosexuality is natural and there is no reason to be ashamed.

Well, I KNOW he has… since I witnessed it, and so have others.

but if he has and he has apologized and asked forgiveness then that’s all that matters.

Repentence is key… and in order to repent you can’t live that lifestyle anymore, but yes God can forgive you if you’re gay, but you have to repent.

it never ceases to amaze me how these athiests are so busy trying to covince people there is no god and when they see a question that relates to god from someone who belives why bother to answer or even share insight.if they belive that way thats between them and god,they shouldnt bother to answer questions related to the lord .be careful who you take advice from now to answer your question if you confess your sin he is faithful and just to forgive your sins and to cleanse you from all unrightousness ..god can deliver you if you from homosexuality just began to seek him I would suggest also finding a spirit filled church where the lord is moving and his will is being done you will be in my prayers and feel free to contact me if you need a friend jesus loves you by his stripes you are healed and I claim your deliverance from that way of life in the name of jesus god bless

There have been some messed up answers by some well meaning people. The only sin that can’t be forgiven is “Blasphemy of the holy spirit”. The only way you could do that is if Jesus were walking the earth now and hey was within an earshot of you and you basically said that he wasn’t who he was or like the Pharisees, you said that He gets his power from Satan

Yes you can be forgiven for being gay. Not only can you can be forgiven, you can be made straight. An example? Ever heard of gospel singer Donnie McClurkin? Well, he used to be gay. He said he struggled with it for 20 years while being in the church and then one day he prayed for it to be taken from him. And there was a lady at my church who said something similar one time a few years ago. The devil is a liar. If you’re feeling dirty, that’s a sign..give your life to Christ and pray for him to make you the way that He intended you to be!

yes god is real I am a christain but the only way god can forgive you is if you repent. You have to stop, and live for god, because he gave his son so he could die for you, why can’t you give back

Yes my friend, God can forgive any sin, even sexual sins.

Matthew 12:31 says “every sin & blasphemy will be forgiven people.”

But forgiveness of sin is only found in us believing in the Person & Work of Jesus Christ, the God-Man.

“And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12

And the bible says that we’re all sinners, regardless of the particular sin- “all have sinned & fallen short of the glory of God,” (Romans 3:23). That means that not one person ever could “earn” their way into heaven. But God has made a way through Jesus Christ His Son!

Our sin marrs our very souls, damns us to hell apart from Christ, & robs us of a higher quality of life here on earth. That quality of life is restored in Christ. “I have come that they may have life, & have it to the full.” John 10:10.

I’ve committed just about every sin in the book. I’ve done many good deeds too, but God is perfect. I have still fallen short of perfection. My only shot at heaven after death & the highest quality of life down here is through me claiming Jesus’ righteousness for my own, & me following after Him. He is so kind. He doesn’t have to, but out of love He offers the gift of eternal life to us sinners through belief in Him.

We should believe & repent. Repent means turning from sin and toward God. This is hard! If it was easy everyone would do it. I struggle mightily with sin, & sometimes slip back into it. But I don’t ever want to stop fighting it.

You feel dirty because you know your homosexual behavior is wrong, just like I feel awful when I sin. That sense of guilt means God hasn’t “given u over to your sin.” (Romans 1:24-32).

Guilt may feel bad but it’s a good thing! God has better things in store for you that a homosexual lifestyle. HE CAN DELIVER YOU, & GIVE YOU A NEW SPIRITUAL NATURE!

The truth isn’t popular these days, but it’s still only found in Jesus.

And people who don’t know Jesus think Jesus is “religion”. Religion? Nope. Religious people killed Jesus. Jesus is truth, love, mercy, is currently invisible (in heaven), is living, sees all you do, & is a Person you can have a relationship with.
