Why does "Flowers in the Attic" make me find something beautiful and tragic in incest?

Answer #1

That is such a good book. I completely agree with your point of view from the book also. Its the situation they were in, the way the author worded things, its hard to see what they did as wrong. They were locked in an attic and only had each other for years for comfort. Especially at such confusing ages when puberty and sexual desire start to occur. They only had each other and what they did almost seemed natural.
