What are the best flavors to use when making flavored olive oil at home?

I had some garlic infused olive oil yesterday, and parmesean flavor…and they don’t sell those here so I’m going to make some. But I need help making sure I’m picking the best flavor combinations. Any ideas?

Answer #1

Basil, Rosemery, Oregano, and Tarragon are the ones i’ve personally tried and liked :)

Answer #2

The lime flavoured or pepper flavoured olive oils works wonders when cooking especially on char-grilled steaks. My partner likes the caramelised balsamic vinegar but we never ever make the olive oils ourselves. We tend to purchase the pre-made ones at the shops and when it is not on special the 4 litres tin cans, do cost us $46 each and once the oils are on special it’s only $19.95 which we tend to stock up at home.

Answer #3

When I make dressing, I use fresh garlic, fresh bail and parsley, that’s it. I do add parm cheese sometimes for a more creamy texture. Throw all ingredients in a blender and it is soooo good!

Answer #4

I like a Mediterranean twist by using garlic, rosemary, orange rind, and sweet pepper.

Answer #5

chilli!

Answer #6

Garlic, Rosmary and Thyme :)
