Eating olive oil good?

I eat a lot of olive oil and I use it for cooking also. Is this healthy? Or should I cut down on the olive oil? And if so replace it by what?

Answer #1

its good for you.

Answer #2

Olive oil is one of the healthiest of all the oils. I use it instead of butter in most dishes like strir fries and I even use an olive cooking spray for things like eggs and saute.

Answer #3

…it still has fat, so, don’t go crazy with it :) But, it’s non saturated fat, so it’s good from that perspective.

Usually, Olive oil is the one people migrate too from vegetable oil or butter, which are both far less healthy.

Answer #4

Olive oil is completely natural so the more the better - it benefits you and wont do any harm. You benefit a lot from choosing it over the fatty-type oils.

Answer #5

I agree with Steph…I use Extra Virgin Olive Oil when I cook.
