Exercising at home?

I want to lose some weight without having to buy expensive equipment. I can’t go running outside because there is to much snow. What should I do and how many of them?

Answer #1

I don’t leave my house to workout. I have an extensive DVD collection that helps me alternate workouts, but usually I watch Gilad on FitTv…his workouts are phenomenal…do you get FitTv? If not, I would suggest subscribing to it, there are a TON of good shows on there you could work out with, and the only equipment requirements would be a a set of dumb bells, swiss ball, and maybe a step if your interested in doing step areobics. May sound like a lot, but start small, not all shows require anything, just your commitment. And besides, it’s cheaper than a gym.

In the town where I live the mall opens up an hour early to allow those who desire to walk around for exercise to do so. We have a huge mall so a few times around and that’s enough.

like orion said mall is def. a good idea. but if your like me and just want to drop a few but dont have a ride to the mall I would do the sit up and crunches like kozue said. I also have tried the plea sqwats I believe there called? its where you put your feet out and bend your knees. that works the inner thighs. you’ll b sore but its a great work out.

there is no magic exercise that will make you drop lb’s fast. trust me. just drink LOTS of water eat right. lots of veggies. really cut back on the sweets. when the snow is gone try jogging every other day for about a half hour. it helps.

Maybe you can try doing sit ups, crunches, dancing. Depend on how much you want. Good luck! ^^
