I dont really care if it looks perfect at this point, it just has to be closed up for safety reasons seeing as how its in my sons room. I have no clue how he did it, but there is about an 8x8 foot hole in the bottom of his wall.
The easiest and cheapest way to cover it up would be to apply wallpaper over top of it. That, or you could perhaps nail a piece of plywood to cover it.
These options definitely aren't pretty, but they are fast and easy. If you choose the plywood option, to make it stand out less, you could always paint it before you nail it to the wall. (That would keep the stink and fumes out of your son's room.)
Mud it and paint it could work, but mudding an 8" x 8" hole is kinda hard. If you can cut a piece of plywood or drywall a bit smaller than the hole, then screw it to the wall and mud over that. Sand and paint after its dry.
perhaps a long mirror or a dresser to cover the space in the meantime i do dry wall work and a hole that side will cost yurself to do round 50$ hek set his bed against it
and 8ft x 8ft hole! wow. what kind of wall is it? if you can screw to it drywall or plywood. OSB 4ft x 8ft plywood runs about $8 to $10 a sheet usually.
Usually my dad put wet cement over and then let it dry then put new fresh paint!it worked , hope it will work for u too
in that case pictures maybe mirror, even seen people put dolls or hang robes over the spot so it blends in wit the room
Actually I guess if it was a sheet rock wall it was drywall compound or "mud" he put over it.
Whoops, i was typing way to fast. I meant 8x8 inch hole lol.
: l Someone was mad eh? ,lol
put a poster over it
