I do not understand the need to...Unless you are already dehydrated why would water at hand be necessary....in the hundreds of thousands of years we as a race have roamed and done exercise i doubt if water at hand is a natural way to replenish yourself unless your unhealthy dehydrated already.
Yes, it's okay to drink water but preferably Gatorade or Powerade. When you're sweating you lose electrolytes but energy drinks like Gatorade, NOT Monster, replenish the lost electrolytes.

Yes. Drink a few sips inbetween reps while you rest.
