Dog with one nut.

My friend has this dog and he has only one nut. They snip one off so that he wouldn’t be so excited when he is older. Do you think that he can still make babies?

Answer #1

You should ask the Vet but probably he’ll be fine - just not as nutty as others.

Answer #2

When they neuter him, they’ll have to go in and get the other testicle…it’s more invasive than a regular neuter. However, an undecended testicle has a higher risk of cancer, so they really don’t want to leave it.

Aww poor doggie !!!

Answer #4

Listen to the first answer. chances are very low that the dog was only born with one testie. it is more then likley cryptorchided. there is another testie in there. if it is not found and removed it can cause serious problems. I do know that getting a dog neutered early does reduce the chance of them peeing on everything and calms them down, once that testosrin is released it is hard to break them of bad habbits. but you need to ask the vet if the other tested never decended and it may be in the abdomen.

Answer #5

Humans can still make babies with one nut, so it’s probley possible.

Answer #6

Why do they half-neuter a dog? That’s so weird. One nut can still give enough hormones to be an excited dog.
