Answer #6

thank you =)

Answer #7

you are very welcome. And to add to my previous answers, it really depends on which religion you believe in your heart is the true religion. I have read a Holy Bible. There are many different versions and alterations of the bible, so again, it depends on which one you believe in :)

Answer #8

that was referring to the way the ppl thought in the old testament we are to follow the new testament that is our testament. does she eat pork or let you or anyone in your family bc then she shouldnt bc if she wants to say that then she shouldnt eat it or shrimp or necterines or any fruit that comes fromn at least two different kinds of fruit. you cant follow only the parts that you want you oly have to follow what the new testament says unless you choose to follow parts of the old testament then you must follow all of it

Answer #10

the lord has answered me… he talks to me… he says he loves dogs!

:D

Answer #11

No he doesn’t. He hates them. He hates them soo much he created them!

Answer #12

If he didn’t love it… why would he make it? God loves everything he created.

Answer #13

I don’t think so. Isn’t God the creator of all animals?

Answer #14

If He dislikes them, then why would He have made them?

Answer #15

He created them so I don’t think so. From what I’ve heard in church and from what i’ve read in the Bible I wouldn’t think so.

Answer #16

Depends on your religion. If you’re Christian Biblical then God has no problem with dogs, cats, maggots, butterflies, etc. They all have their place. If you are Christian Biblical and disagree with me, please quote the New Testament Greek text. If you are of another religion, I respect your believes, even if I disagree. I suspect some religions don’t like dogs, but I don’t really know.

Answer #17

the story is, your mom couldn’t come up with a good reason not to let you get a dog so she said that God doesn’t like them. But honestly, if God didn’t like dogs, why would he put them here on earth to be our companions?

Answer #18

The Bible often uses dogs as a “bad example.” They are considered to be dirty, greedy, vulgar, often lazy, sometimes vicious, easily provoked, and generally unappealing. But that did NOT mean that people didn’t have dogs. They were used for guarding, herding, and disposal of animal carcasses unfit (unkosher) for human food. The fact that they were bought and sold indicates that they were considered to be of some value. Whether they were ever treated as pets - animal companions - I don’t know. But God was particularly fond of a man whose name means dog: Caleb!

Answer #19

God created dogs, why would he dislike them?? and what felican said God loves all creation

Answer #20

Jaxin, I’m afraid someone’s been feeding you some misinformation about Judaism and the Hebrew Bible.

  1. Nectarines and most other hybrid fruits are kosher.

  2. It is a common misunderstanding, but not true, that the Hebrew Bible (what you call the “old testament”) is the text religious Jews use in order to know what our religious obligations are.

  3. The passage Quaya refered to is not in the Hebrew Bible; it is in the Christian Bible, in the book of Revelations (chapter 22, if you want to look it up).

Quaya, it’s not clear that the passage your mom showed you is referring to heaven. It says dogs will remain outside the “gates of the city,” which could just as well refer to the holy city of Jerusalem in times to come.

Answer #21

but animals don’t have souls according to the bible, so he does not love dogs like he loves us. according to the bible, god created animals as a source of food and other utilities for us. seems a bit cruel if you ask me….

Answer #22

God created it and he Loves everything that he created?

Answer #23

God created it and he Loves everything that he created?
