Does the south beach diet really work?

Hey I was wondering if anyone has tried the south beach diet (phase one and two)etc… I am on my first week of it and I want to knw if it works…if not can anyone share their successful weight loss stories with me? That would be great thanks ! :)

yeah im just going to diet and exercise regurarly…I feel better :)and losing 1-2 pounds a week aint all that bad lol thanks!!!

It works, but it’s nearly impossible to continue it for long periods of time. It’s very, very difficult to not eat carbs, and the second you do, you gain it all back (I did).

Oh yeah, it works. But as soon as you stop it you start gaining weight back.

If you are serious about losing weight, the only way to do it and keep it off is to change. Change the way you eat, change the way you move and change the way you think. You have to learn to eat healthy all the time. You have to find a meal plan that you can live with for the rest of your life. You have to get up and move, exercise, get you butt off the couch (if you are able to) You have to get your mind right about what you want to do and how you are going to do it.

I knew someone who was on that. She did loose weight every time she did it. Its a tough diet and she put the weight back on the second she stopped the diet.
