Does God exist?

God does not exsist. I’m not trying to insult people, but that’s my opinion. at least with me. if god wanted me to follow him, he would’ve done a better job. it’s good to have an open mind, but why worship something that is man-made? It’ seems pretty purposeless to me, and praying never works!1 I’m an athiest, religion is for people who have no purpose in life, and that’s pathetic! Evidence that actually supports the exsistance of god??/

Answer #1

Jesus Christ’s life and crucifixion was recorded in other historical accounts from NON-CHRISTIAN people in his time other than just in the bible. There is proof that Jesus was here on this earth and was crucified-

I never said Jesus didn’t exist. But your elaborate tale of how he was ‘beaten and scorned’ by his own allowance (seen ‘Passion’ recently, hmmm?) is ALSO not provable.

You also might not know, but there are also historical documents that make no reference to him being crucified. And considering the relative age of ALL these documents, and the mystical imaginative way in which they were written. Their credibility is ultimately questionable…

If you want to believe you came from a monkey -then your probably right! But I was created from God’ s own image by my CREATOR.

Who said I believe we came from monkeys? Its commonly accepted (in the scientific world) that mankind is RELATED to primates, by a common ancestor.

Answer #2

Can you prove you have a brain?

Yes… its called a MRI. Can you prove God exists with one? Nooo.

Can you actually see it

Yes… I could let a brain surgeon open me up and film it. Can you get God on film? Nooo…

Can you actually touch it?

If I really wanted to, but that’d be gooey. I’ll let the brain surgeon do that too. Can you get the same surgeon to touch God? Nooo…

but you know it’s there because you have faith it’s there

NO - I KNOW its there, because its a scientific FACT that has been proven.

not everything in life has to be proved to be true

Well, obviously not to YOU. But you need better reasoning, want to use the ‘wind analogy’ now?

Answer #3

Besides- it makes no sense being an atheist- think about it! If I am wrong about Jesus and you are right about being an atheist then we both die and that’s the end of it.

Yea but we lived our lives to the fullest and you didn’t! You don’t get a second chance!

Answer #4

Well I felt that is what you implied, and I am pretty sure she is talking to the person who asked this question, beautifulmasquerade, and if not, possibly you..

Answer #5

I dont believe in god, and the world aroung is perfectly fine with that…though my family is totally ‘godded out’. But there is not real evidence that god exists or just an answer to the inexplainable…

If you want, I could get you on a few info on stuff like this…

Answer #6

I find it highly unlikely that any sort of god exists.

However, since I can’t disprove the existance of god(s) I have to keep an open mind to the possibility no mater how unlikely.

Answer #7

no God??? are you stupid? where does life come from? where does matter come from? they can’t just come out of nowhere you find someone who can answer this question without saying God and ill show you a liar

Answer #8

k, can we just stop arguing over this?! It’s ridiculous and we know that no one is going to win because it is such a controversial issue, and I want to go to bed!! Agreed?

Answer #9

Well I felt that is what you implied

…really? Then you weren’t paying attention.

and I am pretty sure she is talking to the person who asked this question, beautifulmasquerade, and if not, possibly you…

Whatever… she sounds completely deluded…

Answer #10

I am passionate about my religion and it is not your place to tell me that God doesn’t exist.

I never said God doesn’t exist…

…and ‘minzz101’ …who the hell are you talking to?

Answer #11

Um. . . broadwaystar101, I know God exist and don’t need a bit of physical proof to believe it. . . . . to me Believing and Knowing that God exist is one in the same.

Answer #12

If they’re were really any way to heaven except for Jesus- I highly doubt he would have allowed himself to be beaten and scorned and hung on a cross to die- he would have just said “take the other guy over there so that I don’t have to die this excruciating death.”

Answer #13

“Religion is for people that have no purpose in life” ???

Honey, I have nothing to say to something so pathetic sounding. Maybe someone else will want to answer you.

Answer #14

You missed the entire point

No, you failed to make a point.

But this is stupid talking about that anyway

I’m glad you can admit your mistakes.

You seem the type of person that’s likes to read an educated book: Read ‘A Case For Christ’ by Lee Strobel- who used to be an atheist before accepting Jesus

I’ve read it… (yawn)

And atheists’ beliefs are JUST as unprovable as theists…

Answer #15

PART OF OUR BELIEFS IS THAT WE DON’T HAVE PROOF OF A GOD

…and have you noticed how many believers (on this site) just can’t seem to accept that?

Answer #16

I wasn’t admitting that I made a mistake I was admitting that there are people like you on this earth that would believe they were right even if God himself was standing right in front of you- you would probably still argue his existence to him

Answer #17

lol actualy I’m Jewish, but I have similar beliefs! And yes, that, rnealw, was what I was trying to say!! I believe God exists, and part of my believing is that I don’t actually have proof, I believe!

Answer #18

Honey, I don’t have to ACT smart. lol. You are too funny. Thanks for posting these questions, it gives me my entertainment for the day. :)

Answer #19

Don’t be selfish. Why should God care about your existence, or answer your every whim. He doesn’t have to talk to you if he doesn’t want to.

Answer #20

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU SAY BECAUSE DON’T YOU KNOW THAT THERE ARE PEOPLE LIKE ME ON THIS SITE WHO HAVE VERY STRONG RELIGIOUS BELIEFS?!?!?! PART OF OUR BELIEFS IS THAT WE DON’T HAVE PROOF OF A GOD, AND THAT WHY ITS CALLED ‘BELIEVING’ AND NOT ‘KNOWING’!!!

Answer #21

laws of physics much?? Please educate yourselves and become worthwhile human beings.

Answer #22

my brother is atheist. I thought I was but im not. I do not care about religion. I know what its like to question if god exists or if jesus exists but I just stay out of it.

Answer #23

We’re still primative as an advanced species. Our brains aren’t in perfect working order. Man may have looked to the sky for faith and resoning. Creating God, Allah, Jeehovah. Do you think that an advanced civilization maybe 1,000 years more advanced then us has a God? I don’t think so.

Answer #24

…and have you noticed how many believers (on this site) just can’t seem to accept that? Have you noticed how many can?! Do you also realize that probably 90% of religious people CAN and DO accept that and it is one of the main reasons they have certain beliefs?! Also, do you know how many people on this site can’t accept someone asking a question and stating that there is no God?!

Answer #25

I do know that happened. Jesus Christ’s life and crucifixion was recorded in other historical accounts from NON-CHRISTIAN people in his time other than just in the bible. There is proof that Jesus was here on this earth and was crucified- there’s just no proof of his resurrection except for the eyewitnesses that saw him afterward, that is the part where faith comes in.

Answer #26

I htink he does. I think that’s how we got here. granted, I used to believe in evolution. and the single-celled molecules, and the big bang starting us all off. but I hosestly believe…that somewhere up there is this guy watching over all of us. I really hope there is. what are your reasons for not believing in god. I’m not trying to “turn you” lol I’m just interested allex

Answer #27

In conclusion some things I left out that I meant to say. Religion is just ways of explaining things we don’t understand. Like sinkshimmer said.. “Just like we now know that the weather has an explanation and isn’t just the wrath of some deity.” I mean if there really was a world wide flood, there would be evidence in the world to to support that. I’m not saying there wasn’t a noah’s ark. Just the story was probably elabarated on. Maybe there was a flood that cast them out into the indian sea. Making them think that and writing those records. I sound a little scattered brain and I can’t get out excatly what I mean. Perhaps there is other universes with their own laws of physics. (I’m not skeptical of extratriestrials(sp?) With their own form of beings, or heaven like. Anything is possible. But to just simply pull ideas out of your a*s like that and pass them off like fact for people to actually believe seems wrong to me. Then where did God come from? Did he just appear out of no where? Like everything else seems it has. Does Santa Clause exist? Do you believ everything you hear and are told? I clearly have more knowledge then most of the people in here. Just follow your heart, it’s the 21st century. instead I should’ve said ‘For people who can’t find their own purpose’ in the end you will all understand.

Answer #28

Atheists bashing Christians and Christians bashing atheists… What are you all getting out of this? Are you really learning anything positive or are you just waiting for the next chance to use your caps lock?

I don’t believe that any gods exist. I have seen no evidence of it and scientists don’t use “supreme beings” to explain the universe either. However, it’s totally unfair and untrue to say that religion is for those with no purpose and those who are stupid. First, some religions are atheistic in nature. Second, most people in all religions (and no religion) are reasonably intelligent people who have their own purpose in life. We may not agree with what they believe or why they believe it but we shouldn’t judge them based on a label. Judge them by their words and deeds instead.

If someone were to judge you by your words above, what would they decide?

Answer #29

Im a Christian, I believe God exists, end of story. He puts the non-believers on earth to challenge the faith of Christians, and none of them can change the fact that I believe in Him. It says in the Bible that faith is one of the biggest things you can have, I have faith in God, because while not everything turns out the way I want it to, there are also lifes miracles etc, but I dont need to see God to believe in Him. Im not hardout religous, but then I think God justs wants you to live your life in the way He wants you to. I dont like it when people use God and Jesus’s names as swear words. Remember God is about forgiveness, even though you may not have faith that He exists, he will probably forgive you for this(hopefully!-thats part of my belief anyway). As to whether Hell exists, I dont know, in my heart I dont think it does, but I dont think Im going to be punished for this.

Answer #30

miss”beautifulmasquerade” haven’t you ever heard that “BIBILICAL STORIES ARE ONLY SYMBOLIC, AND THAT YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSE TO READ THEM WORD FOR WORD”. I would like to further explain my point but due to lack of time I will do so some other time.

“I do believe there is much more to life then what meets the eye but I think they can all be proven with scientific explanations. I.e ghosts.”

then me, with EVIDENCE HOW THESE SCIENTIFIC EXPLANATIONS CAME INTO EXISTANCE!

Also, you still haven’t given me evidence to prove how the laws of physics came into existance! Therefore, untill you have proven these with evidence, THERE IS A GOD THAT EXISTS!

Answer #31

lol, you knew you were starting a war right? religious people are the worst to take this up against because they get all preachy, like its their duty in life to save you…

what ever happened to live and let live…

heaven forbid you have a different opinion from whatever faith they are (listen to every religious person and EVERYONE but them is going to hell… I mean with those views only like 1% of everyone who hit the jackpot with the right religion is going to heaven)

I dont know if God exists, but I mean there is no real proof, you kinda believe or you dont. and if you dont then that’s your choice…

I think some people believe in order to have a purpose in life…

I really wouldnt go around insulting all religious people (even though I can understand why you’d want to…)

Answer #32

I believe in god I mean I cant exactly tell any one why but I just beleive and can feel his love in my heart dont get me wrong some times im very deprested but can always feels his love so I guess thats why I beleive that their is God and I’ve found that when something gose wrong in a lot of peoples lives they blame God or some say if their was a God he wouldnt let this bad thing happon but what really makes bad things happon is satin couse theirs god and theirs satin and right now satins got a good grip on earth and hes not leting go and thats becouse people arnt beleving in God but if we all beleived and fallow in his footsteps bad things wouldnt happon I mean some accidents will happon but evil things wouldnt happon couse God dose do good things on earth but you have to have him in your heart to see the good things he dose for us every day in sted of then influence satin has on things around you

Answer #33

I’m sorry to say but you are the most ridiculous person I have ever heard. Let me point this out to you “IF THERE WAS NO GOD AT ALL WE WOULDN’T BE HERRREEE!!!” First and foremost, (IF YOU READ THE NEWSPAPAER)scientists now have began to realize that the is a “supreme” being who created the universe. You said laws of physics were what brought us here didn’t you?? IF so, then explain to me WITH EVVVIIDENCEEE how these laws of physics came to exist!!!? If you are not able to explain WITH EVIDENCE I REPEAT EVIDENCE, don’t you EVER say something that you are not sure of. Neither should you accuse religious people of being too “preachy” as you say. Rather, accuse your yourself for lack of knowledge and pray to God TO SAVE YOU!! For religious people know WHY THEY ARE IN EXIST UNLIKE YOU WHO DOESN’T HAVE ANY CLUE ABOUT YOUR EXISTANCE IN THIS UNIVERSE!

Answer #34

Who do you think made the law of physics? That big bang must have been awful smart to have designed an entire universe in perfect working order? And we’re the dumb ones???

Answer #35

It is so inconceivable to believe all animals and people came from the same single cell molecule. If that were true why are humans still humans? Isn’t it about time for us to grow an extra arm or something.

Answer #36

No beautiful Masquerade- you can quit talking- you ask advice and then tell the people who answer to shut up. By the way- if you want me to quit talking why did you try to add me to your friends list?

Answer #37

Wow… to imagine that all this went on while I was asleep… And Legion didn’t get here from Australia, either! Not that I think either of us would have changed things much, anyway…

I hope some of you managed to get some sleep, anyway.

Answer #38

Christians know the TRUTH already. Do you know how wonderful it is to lay your head down on your pillow and night and have peace in your heart that if you died that night you would wake up in the arms of Jesus Christ. I know that peace and so do millions of others- and so can you. Do you honestly believe Christianity would still be in existence after 2000 years if there wasn’t something to it?

Answer #39

:) I think you need to make up your own mind. We’re not here to promote any religion, nor are we here to help you “find the way”…nor are we here to help talk you out of it, if you’ve made up your mind about one.

Faith in anything is a beautiful thing. In a god, in your fellow human beings, in the chance to get a good night’s sleep…

I love everybody - Christian & Aetheist alike. And, I’m shutting this down :) Feel free to start another debate, though.

Answer #40

Lmfao. Well I watch the science channel a lot. And the theories of life exsistance seems pretty rational to me. If that’s the right word. You Christians seem like mindless Zombies blindlessly following. And mistykh, you can stop talking because what you are saying is dribble(:

I think religion was just a form of law enforcement. I mean c’mon you can’t really believe those biblical stories. If you do you’re completly devoid of any common since not only that but piss-ignorant. I hate drama and I’m sorry for causing it.

You can believe what you want to believe by all means I’m not stopping you I was just stating a fact.

I do believe there is much more to life then what meets the eye but I think they can all be proven with scientific explanations. I.e ghosts.

But w.e I don’t even know what I’m saying. I’m sleepy. kbye.

Answer #41

You know well that I AM TELLING THE TRUE that is why you reacted this way. As for someone like you, I won’t stop till you realize that there is a God. For God has mercy for even people like you who are lost and have no clue why you are in existance. But neither will I waste my time agruing with a complete, clueless, and brainless idiot like you, for I am only here to support THE WELL KNOWN FACT THAT THERE IS A GOD THAT EXIST! Afterall, you still have not proven to me that HOW THESE SCIENTIFIC EXPLANATIONS CAME INTO EXISTANCE! Let me give you a hint were you can find answers. IN THE BIBLE. End of story!!

Answer #42

haven’t you ever heard that ‘BIBILICAL STORIES ARE ONLY SYMBOLIC, AND THAT YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSE TO READ THEM WORD FOR WORD’. I would like to further explain my point but due to lack of time I will do so some other time.

Oh, then you’ll have a fun debate, well, let’s call it ‘thump-race’ with the fundamentalists.

Also, you still haven’t given me evidence to prove how the laws of physics came into existance! Therefore, untill you have proven these with evidence, THERE IS A GOD THAT EXISTS!

So… God exists, until someone proves how the laws of physics came into existence? …REALLY? And how’d you come to that delusion… err… conclusion?

how is a prayer going to come to past if you don’t believe!!!

Just as easily as when it DOESN’T come to past when you DO believe. What’s your point?

THE WELL KNOWN FACT THAT THERE IS A GOD THAT EXIST!

WRONG! Its not a fact, its simply what you believe. Or in your case… VERY simply…

Afterall, you still have not proven to me that HOW THESE SCIENTIFIC EXPLANATIONS CAME INTO EXISTANCE! Let me give you a hint were you can find answers. IN THE BIBLE. End of story!!

This is the way a debate works:

You express your case, and you provide evidence to support it. You’ve provided nothing. You expect people to try and disprove the existence of God? Well… THEY CAN’T. And you can’t PROVE God exists either. And if he does, you’re certainly not doing him any justice with your behavior. Your posts are unorganized wads of screaming & name-calling. Which reaffirms your relative ignorance regarding the subject matter. You’re making a complete a*s of yourself, and wasting web space in the process.

Your distorted way of thinking, pisspoor grammar, and snarky demeanor is an embarassment to the Christian community…

Answer #43

Didn’t want to get into this discussion, but lets forget religion for a moment and just think of arguing.

How does one win an argument?

Generally provable facts get the other party to shut up. For example: Me: Your brother is tall You: No he is short Me: He’s tall too!! You: No! (brings your tall brother over) Me: Ok, he’s tall

That’s using evidence to backup what you say. Now take this example: Me: God does not exist! You: Yes he does! Me: How do you know? You: I believe he exists! Me: But I dont believe it! You: Jesus Christ is lord!

See what is happening? Both of us believe opposite things, but there is no way to prove that either of us is right. The argument then just evolves into name calling, since the point can’t be proven.

So what do I believe? I grew up in a christian home. But I’m very agnostic… and possibly atheistic, since in my 43 years I have not seen any proof one way or the other despite being in intensely religions environments.

Some people take comfort in believing, others take pleasure in questioning.

What I believe is that there are two kinds of people in the world. And they are in all races, religions and societies.

There are questioners and believers. Where do you fall on this scale? Do you put yourself more to the side of questioners? If so, then you have good company with the iconoclasts, inventors, and never-do-wells. If you are a content believer then more power to you too because you have managed to content yourself with your beliefs.

Me? I’m a questioner, and the void that’s inside me waiting to be filled with knowledge is legendary and painful.

Thing is, I dont want that pain of not being filled to stop!!! I can’t tell you how wonderful it is to discover new things that challenge the established orders. How great it is to invent something new, or find and absorb yet another point of view in the great books that our fellow humans write.

This is why the greatest discoverers have always been persecuted by the various religions around the world. Because of challenge to the orthodoxy.

Answer #44

to me it really does not make sense to say that we evolved from a speck of dust!!! its sounds stupid. ITS JUST LOGIC THERE HAS TO BE SOMETHING OUT THERE and also if we evolved from dust where did the dust come from??? your backside???

Answer #45

You seem the type of person that’s likes to read an educated book: Read “A Case For Christ” by Lee Strobel- who used to be an atheist before accepting Jesus

Answer #46

You missed the entire point. Yes- you can see an MRI - but that is an image of your brain. You maybe can see someone else’s brain but you can’t actually see and touch your own- you have to have faith that you have one inside YOUR head. But this is stupid talking about that anyway- You either believe in Jesus as the Son of God or you don’t- It’s your choice and only your choice- your the one that’s going to have to live with your decision- not me.

Answer #47

I kinda agree with youbeautifulmasquerade I believe in a”god” or a higher power but I’m not too much with religion, I think it’s just a bunch of moral stories to teach people life lessons and it used to be a form of law enforcement

Answer #48

Faith is the evidence of things not seen - Faith comes by hearing - Hearing comes by the word of God (The Bible) - what evidence ? - He lives in my heart - if you want to know Jesus, seek Him - He promises, if you see you WILL find - I have a huge purpose in life - doesn’t matter what you think of me - it matters what He thinks of me - I’m thankful that He paid the price for my sins ( and yours) on that cross - so judge and mock away - God’s word makes it clear - a person either accepts or rejects - both have consequences - like the good Capt on this site, sometimes you just gotta be blunt…

There is none so blind as one who will not see…(refuses)

Answer #49

I think in some way there is god but other ways there is not. I think people need a higher power because it’ comforting to know someone is watching over you sort of more spiritual but then again I believe in evloution too

Answer #50

Shut your pie-hole, you’re brainwashed (; seriously wut you been smoking? Where does life come from it comes from the self created universe. God is universal everthing creates itself. I myself am god, in otherwords there is no God. COMMON SINCE guess some poeple don’t have that.

Answer #51

hey you look young ,,, so you are talking from a short life experience wait till you hit 90 or so and u wont your question wont be does god exist , your question will be is there really a place like hell bcs datz relly the true reason people want 2 believe in god and heven bcs of fear

Answer #52

Seriously this question is going to go no where. if there was PROOF of God’s existence… then this wouldn’t be a question would it?

One day we will know the truth… Just like we now know that the weather has an explanation and isn’t just the wrath of some deity.

Until then… be content with taking your next breath.

Answer #53

It sounds like you are the one with no purpose in this life. No God??? Take a look around when you walk outdoors- to think that the ocean, the trees, the mountains, the sunset just all of sudden popped into being is ridiculous. Obviously it was all very beautifully and perfectly formed by the Creator.

Answer #54

But I am living my life to the fullest. I am extremely happy. Christians can do anything that you can do- we are not limited to certain things. Although with Jesus in my life it makes me not want to do certain things. Besides- being a bad girl isn’t as fun as people make it out to be. There comes a time in everyone’s life when you get lonely, depressed, maybe even sucidal. Who do you have to turn to then? Others will let you down, but Jesus will always be there to listen, I feel him, like I said- it’s a joy you can only feel from experiecing it yourself. And I guarentee you the high of his spirit- is better than any high this earth can give you. But don’t take my word for it. Try it! Get on your knees and cry out to Jesus- ask him if he’s really there.

Answer #55

It is so inconceivable to believe all animals and people came from the same single cell molecule. If that were true why are humans still humans? Isn’t it about time for us to grow an extra arm or something.

If you’re starting a debate (again) over Creation vs. Evolution, then no. Humanity could’ve stopped or slowed its evolution (physical), once its brain was smart enough to create tools to insure its survival.

If they’re were really any way to heaven except for Jesus- I highly doubt he would have allowed himself to be beaten and scorned and hung on a cross to die- he would have just said ‘take the other guy over there so that I don’t have to die this excruciating death.’

…you don’t KNOW that happened, you simply BELIEVE it happened.

Answer #56

Have you noticed how many can?!

Yeah… few…

Do you also realize that probably 90% of religious people CAN and DO accept that and it is one of the main reasons they have certain beliefs?!

No… the percentage is nowhere near that high…

Also, do you know how many people on this site can’t accept someone asking a question and stating that there is no God?!

Yeah… so far… 8… what’s your point?

We don’t need to accept your proof- we have an actual relationship with him and talk to him everyday- so we know he is there. You should try it sometime

Once again, you don’t know, you just believe. And I did ‘try it’… I found it to be… not believable… and very unexciting…

Answer #57

Well, maybe because you think its unbelievable, and you aren’t actually believing, God is not there for you in the same way. He is there for everyone, and those who believe have a better relationship with him. And my point is that its silly questions like these that get us into debates, because if you haven’t noticed, I am passionate about my religion and it is not your place to tell me that God doesn’t exist. It’s therefore not mine to tell you he does, and my apologies for that, yet no one on this site should try to tell others what to believe and what’s right or wrong because religion always has been, always is and always will be the most controversial issue in the world!!

Answer #58

I’m not a religious person I am a Christian- there’s a big difference. And the reason we get so “preachy” is because we care about you and there is a hell whether you believe in it or not- it’s your choice- because Jesus doesn’t force everyone to serve him- he leaves it up to everyone to make the choice for themself- that’s what’s so awesome about him. It’s up to you what you believe. I think Christians just have such peace and happiness with Jesus that sometimes we come across as pushy when really we just want you to experiece the same peace we have.

Answer #59

Besides- it makes no sense being an atheist- think about it! If I am wrong about Jesus and you are right about being an atheist then we both die and that’s the end of it. But if I am right and you die - you would end up in hell. Besides- if you would ever pick up the bible and read the book of revelation it’s scary to see almost word for word of what it says will happen in the end days is going on right now! How could someone have written it over 2000 years ago and knew those things if it weren’t the word of God.

Answer #60

I have to say yes, why else would I stll be alive. LoL. God is there it is up to you to let him in your heart. Believe me when I say this, I also have quistioned his motives. You can not just pray when you are in trouble or need something.

Answer #61

Well… you already admitted the point I was trying to make, so technically… I already won.

So, off to bed then…

Answer #62

The ancient historians Tacitus and Suetonius give accounts of Jesus Christ although not as detailed as the gospels and also the Jewish Talmud

Answer #63

Answer #67

uhmm okay first of all…don’t go insulting us religous people. second of all, of course god exists! how else would this world be here?? kaythanks bye.

Answer #68

THANK YOU MINZZ101!!!

Answer #69

I knew about Christ death- straight from his Word- not from some Mel Gibson film, and as far as it not being provable. Think about the media now. The only religion that is attacked and people can get by with it is the Christian religion. Jesus said that this world would hate him and he’s right it does. But he also said nobody could come to him except through faith. Can you prove you have a brain? Can you actually see it, can you actually touch it? No- but you know it’s there because you have faith it’s there- not everything in life has to be proved to be true

Answer #70

Thank you, mistykh!!! :)

Answer #71

I won’t stop till you realize that there is a God. But neither will I waste my time agruing with a complete, clueless, and brainless idiot like you, for I am only here to support THE WELL KNOWN FACT THAT THERE IS A GOD THAT EXIST!

you’re like totally contradicting yourself there make up your mind

who wrote the bible? was it god himself?

Answer #72

Besides- it makes no sense being an atheist- think about it! If I am wrong about Jesus and you are right about being an atheist then we both die and that’s the end of it. But if I am right and you die - you would end up in hell.

…and what if you’re practicing the WRONG religion?

Answer #73

We don’t need to accept your proof- we have an actual relationship with him and talk to him everyday- so we know he is there. You should try it sometime

Answer #74

Your welcome! It’s great to have some Christians on now. I have been debating this for over an hour now- so I’m off to bed so you guys can take over.

Answer #75

If you want to believe you came from a monkey -then your probably right! But I was created from God’ s own image by my CREATOR.

Answer #76

YOU TELL THEM EMILY!!!

Answer #77

Excuse, but miss “captainassassin” how is a prayer going to come to past if you don’t believe!!! Technically speaking it will not WITHOUT FAITH. Excuse me to say but, any person in THEIR RIGHT MIND KNOWS THAT!! To believe God is to have faith without seeing! And the EARLIER COMMENT I MADE WAS NOT ADDRESSED TO YOU. Since I have better things to do rather than agrue with a complete, excuse me to say, idiot I hereby end this conversation with you. Furthermore, as miss “broadwaystar101” said this is all a controversial issue. So there’s no point in agruing over being a winner, since, this issue has no winners.

Answer #78

Orders in an airstrike of Pink Fluffy Bunnies all over the thread

Seriously guys… CALM DOWN!

Some of you believe in God, some of you don’t, some of you are indifferent. YES, debate it. YES, make valid points. YES, agree to disagree.

IT IS NOT OKAY to insult others if you don’t agree with them- telling people to “Shut your pie-hole”, to “pleeease please please please act smart”, or to call them a “complete, excuse me to say, idiot”. Attack the argument, not the person.

If you’re worked up by this thread, walk away, cool off, come back when you’re in a better frame of mind. I don’t want to see any more insult flinging, if I do, this thread gets locked.
