What kind of spices are used in Indian food?

I know stuff like curry is used…

Answer #1

almost all of them I’m sure, because about all the spice were first exported form india and china to europe and stuff, if my memory is serving me right

Answer #2

right horromusic. In fact I can give a small list here. The most predominantly used spices in the food differ for vegetarian and non-veg food.

In the veg dishes, typically used spices are black cumin, corriander seeds, asafoetida, aniseeds, basil, pepper, carom seeds, fenugreek, fennel seeds, nigella and thymol.

In the non-veg varities other than a few of the above spices, the dishes have cardamom, clove, cinnamon, ginger and bay leaves. These are the major ingredients. Also cumin, corriander, asafoetida and a few others are avoided in the non-vegan dishes of some type.

Answer #3

Answer #4
