What kinds of French foods are good?

my family is going to a french restraunt and I would really like to know what kind of foods are good.

If you want an easy way out order the steak frites. Basically steak and french fries but usually really good. Coq au vin (sp?) is also really good. It is a braised chicken stew dish. Other than that take the waiters advice because if it is a good restaurant you probably can’t go wrong no matter what you get. At the same time though if you are not that adventurous you will still enjoy the above dishes.

crepes, quiche, mousse au chocolat, there all good! we ate these in my french class!

Lamb can be expensive but the French do it all sooo good.

Cordon Bleu is very good, as long as you aren’t vegetarian!

Crepes are good, along with escargot, quiche lorraine, and boudin blanc.
