Differences in places of "worship"

Differences …why do the Jehovah Witnesses kick someone out for studying the Bible more than the Watchtower publication, and if the LDS do not tithe, they get the same boot. “Try” to get off their roll and it takes years of letter writing.

Change a church and all it takes is a letter of referral to another church and all is amicable.

Answer #1

Yes, I am suspicious of any institution, particularly a religious one, which exerts that much control over its believers/former believers. But I don’t think that orthodox Christianity is totally innocent of trying to control people…

Answer #2

These are man made rules.

Everything manmade is going to fall.

God is God.

He will be obeyed, as God.

He gave his word.

It was not to be added onto

Everything that is man made, is going to be destroyed.

God will be respected and obeyed… As God.

Man is going to have to step aside.

Man has had his way, and been in charge for 6000 years.

That is coming to an end.

God is stepping up to the pulpit.

He is speaking.

Can you hear him ?

He is getting louder and louder.

He will be obeyed.

He will be honored.

He will be respected.

He will be revered.

He will have his way.

Get in, Get out, or get run over.

Answer #3

The Jehovah’s Witnesses are not a cult, and they don’t “kick people out” for studying the Bible.

In fact, studying the Bible is encouraged, be the study in a meeting or in private.
