Diets THAT WORK!?

tell me whats a diet that works? it can be a challenging one just as long as it works and it doesnt include not eating at all. :) please help. its really important to me that I lose about 20 lbs by summer.

This one will work, but it’s not very spectacular or ‘nteresting’. Here goes:

DO:

-eat small meals several times a day instead of two big ones) -drink a glass of water about 10 minutes before you eat -keep a bowl of things like carrot sticks, celery sticks, chopped tomatoes - anything fresh, colorful and low-calorie - available in the refrigerator at all times, to stop you from snacking on other junk -eat as many vegetables and fruits as you want to -switch to skimmed smilk and dairy products, and don’t be afraid to enjoy them! You need the calcium and proteins.

  • and DO get some exercise, if it’s only walking around the block or not using the elevator

DON’T: -have anything high-calorie and tempting in the house (like chocolates, cookies, fudge(!), salted nut…throw them OUT so you won’t be tempted

  • fry your food - lean meat is OK but don’t fry it. French fries are definitely out. -be tempted to snack on something easy and fattening - that’s what the ‘salad snack bowl’ is for

Not very sensational - but it works, and it will keep the pounds off! Good luck!
