do you think there will ever be a day when there is no such thing as "race" ?

As messed up as this may sound haven’t you even noticed how different lets say people of 2 different skin colors act, like I’ve noticed just in general like there mentality? I think thats mostly of the reason people are racist.

well obviously people of different races act and think differently, theyre from different parts of the world and lead totally separate lives. but one day, far in the future, i think everything will become mixed together. look at how american culture has already began taking over the world…

There is no such thing as race. Its just a concept invented because for some reason we feel the need to segregate ourselves. Our differences in appearance are due to genetics, not race, and just because I look different to someone it doesnt mean that we are completely different in terms of genetics. A caucasion person can have more genetic similarities with a black person than the white person who lives down the street. Whether people will realise race doesnt actually exist is another thing. Im not sure if that will ever happen.

That has nothing to do with race. What you are talking about is difference in culture. Race and culture are two different things.

If everyone is being racist, than why is it that the “crackers” are going to Tanning Salons to make their skins darker? We should all enjoy our body; its the best instrument that we’ll ever own. No matter the color, no matter the religion.. If you can’t accept that, you’re just plain ignorant, & just afraid to admit that you don’t accept your body nor do you respect yourself.

As long as there is this something called as ego and the I me and myself in people there will be the “race”. But yes this can surely end one day if we make a very dedicated attempt to shun this individuality and become for the “mankind”, when each one learns to assimilate and love the mankind as a whole, there will be only one “race” and that is humanity.

Supposedly by the year 3000 AD there will be only one race. If you look at the migration of people today, all over the world, it is possible by that time there will only be one race of a mixture of all races. Such as what is happening in the US today. 50 years ago the Hispanic race was only centered in the 4 south western states, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California. Now they are all over the US in large populations in the major cities.

The other is religion. I’ve read by 2050 the US will be mostly people with Spanish sir names, and the major religion Islam. Europe by that time will also be Islam. I just read today in Britain the most popular boy name now is Mohammed.

Don’t get the idea one race or one religion will stop stiff and wars, it won’t. Wars have always be created by a third party for the purpose of economics. A third party is a country or group that gets two other countries into a conflict against each other. It is what the third party does to keep the wealth for themselves and to control the economics of this planet.

A third party, or third person, is also what causes stiff between two friends. When two people, like friends, husband and wife start conflicts, who is the third party or person behind it. Look for the person who is connected to the two and talks to them separately about the other. That person is the trouble maker. What is their motive.

As others have pointed out there is only one race; the human race. What we commonly refer to as one’s race are just small adaptations we have made to adjust to conditions in different parts of the world.

In the past it only took a few thousand years for an isolated population to become an ethinc group. Due to the way we can now easily relocate anywhere in the world I expect mankind will become a single “race” much faster than it has in the past. Every generation will be a little homogeneous than the last.

Yes, we will have one less thing to fight about but due to overpopulation I expect more wars in the future over resources. We have already gone to war to guaranty cheap oil for our SUVs. Imagine what things will be like when superpowers will have to fight over essentials like water and food.

Sigh. Have you noticed how different people from lets say different countries act? Did you ever think perhaps it was about culture and not this concept that we’ve created and doesnt actually exist?

No. There are people who are going to stick to ‘breeding’ within their own race. I dont think we will wipe that out. But it will become less and less important over time.
