How do you create a consistent daily diet?

I’m 20 5’2 and 100 lbs. im considered underweight. genetics have given me a high metabolism. the problem is i don’t eat meals. i just eat when i’m hungry and alot of the times i’m not hungry and force myself to eat because i need to get some kind of calories in me so i don’t lose weight. Any suggestions on how to create a consistent diet for someone who doesn’t eat meals and hardly eats meat?

First off I think it would be a good idea to talk to a dietitian. These are just a few idea that make some since to me.

Try creating a scheduled. Like you eat breakfast at 8AM every day, you eat lunch an noon, and dinner at 6pm. Stick to those meals regardless of how hungry you feel. At least have a snack - handful of nuts or something. If you aren’t found of meat try to other things with high protein. Eggs, nuts, dairy products (this site has a good list of non-meat protein items towards the bottom of the page. http://funadvice.com/r/151bdd8qd81. Or see if their is some meats you do like. My ex didn’t like red meat so she ate a lot of chicken. Protein substitute might not be a bad idea either. I’m usually not too hungry when I first get up in the morning but I know I need to eat before work. So I will have a light snack and a breakfast shake thing with lots of protein. Keeps me from getting hungry until lunch.

defiantly i think i’m allergic to like hamburger it gives me a stomach ache every time i eat it. i take a one a day vitamin and a vitamin b complex with c so i am not worried about vitamins and minerals. i don’t eat breakfast it makes me sick that and i sleep in the earliest i ever work is 11. i am a any type of cracker ( gold fish, wheat thin chips) and soup person. plus when i work differnt shifts its hard to stick to it. i eat alot of subway if i do need to get something fast. its hard because growing up my mom never forced me to eat, she said eat when your hungry, and she would make us eat some dinner. this sound pathetic cuz if i don;t have someone to remind me to eat i forget,

Do you exercise? Exercise has a paradoxical effect of making our food cravings more appropriate for our bodies. It usually increases the appetite for those who do not eat enough and reduces it for people who eat too much. A problem with not eating meat is that your diet can be too low fat. That happened to me when I was an athlete and got on a low-fat kick. Be sure to include healthy fats like avocado, nuts, olive oil, etc in your diet. This will help you get enough calories if you are underweight.

Answer #4

i don’t excerise. unless standing on my feet and running around at work for what ever time i’m at work. between 5-8 hours 5 days a week is considered excerise. see i have some days where i can never be filled and some days where i’m not hungry.
