How do I convince my mom to buy me tampons without giving her a wrong image in any way?

Tampons are more protective in the night and they’re very common… They’re more comfortable and they’re good for athletic activities. Tampons are good if you change them often, so she doesn’t have to worry as long as you use them correctly. Also you don’t have to worry about staining your underwear and on the contrary; pads feel like a swamp.

If she has a problem why dont you just buy them yourself.

ugh my first period ever, i put on a pad buti couldnt handle it. the pad felt like a nasty diaper so i taught myself how to use tampons. IT IS sooo better

You can get them at most corner stores and grocers … doesn’t have to be a pharmacy.

I don’t understand why you don’t go to any drug stores of any kind? But, as Colleen has mentioned, you don’t have to get them at any drug store in particular! First time I got tampons on my own was at a convenient store! They are a bit more pricy then your regular Shoppers however. Anyhoo, tell your mom that you’re a highly active girl and that pads bother you when playing sports, they leak and get messy, they itch and they do tend to get smelly during the summer! Tampons are much more efficient and cause less mess! They also allow you to wear skinny jeans and not feel uncomfortable :)

Just tell her the truth, I don’t see what she would get the wrong idea. I hated wearing pads to, there to flimsy and leakage… and it feels like your wear a diaper!!!!! Ask your mom if she does get the wrong idea, that she should wear pads then!!
