How can I convince my mom that I don't need a medical reason to be home schooled?

Who can help me prove to my mom that home school is possible without there being anything wrong with you medical wise?I live in New Jersey…Can somebody show me proof that you don’t need to be medicated in order for that to happen?

Well you can try to talk to a home school company or something and aks him/her that if there has to be something medicaly wrong with you in order to take that. I think that will be the best way, so your mom hears it from someone who is doing homeschooling and knows the facts. Meaby she is making this up to not make you go to homeschooling?

Quite honestly, odds are your mother has no desire for you to be home schooled. She either has to quit work, or take time out of her day to do it. I see very few good reasons for a person to be homeschooled.

Answer #3

absolutely do you not need a medical reason. My church is filled with homeschooled families. it is not a choice of medical issues. It is a choice of the parent. I homeschooled my senior year. Just because I wanted too. But, it takes a lot of work on the parents behalf.

Question is, why do you want to be homeschooled.

other thing is, if you are trying to convince your mom. do some research. Does your public school offer classes online. i know my sister is doing her classes online through hers. Is there just simply an online school? Ohio has OHDELA and there is another one as well. where your classes are online and so are the teachers. The public school ones require you to be online so many hours a day and have deadlines for assignments. both schools have teachers on call. These would be less work for your mom. but find out information and present it to your mom. showing her the dedication you have to find the information may show her the dedication that you will get your schooling done.
