cats dont have 9 lives, that saying is pretty much derived from the fact that cats seem to be very swift in getting out of danger. my cat runs fast just to be playful. they always land on their feet because they are swift animals and are used to having to land on their feet from their wild insitncts because that is how they get away whe escaping a predator from a higher place.
