Can you lose weight by skipping breakfast?
Well recently I feel like I have put on a little bit of weight, not a lot, but enough that I notice it, and I was wondering, in the morning I am never really hungry anyway… so if I skip breakfast… could I lose some weight? Or maybe have breakfast and skip lunch.
I have an average lifestyle.. reasonably active…

If you’ve never skipped meals before, yes you can lose weight by skipping lunch (breakfast is needed to jump start your metabolism)… But the weight loss only happens for a little while, until you mess up your metabolism enough that it slows down and holds on to food longer, so I don’t recommend skipping meals. PLUS, once you skip lunch it’s easy to make the jump to skipping dinner as well- trust me; you don’t want to start playing that game.
Why not try having a good breakfast, a piece of fruit between between breakfast and lunch, then a healthy lunch (salad with chicken or slices of ham- dressing on the side), another piece of fruit (or a veggie, whatev.) in the afternoon, and a healthy low-fat dinner? If you go for a walk before meals, that also kick-starts the body’s food-burner. Drink plenty of water, avoid juice (empty calories, you get the vitamins, full of sugar but no fiber) and if you drink milk, make sure it’s skim.

in order to lose weight. make your metabolism faster. eating more by doing so. if you skip a meal, your metabolism gets slower.
its recomended by nutritionists and personal trainers to eat 5-6 small meals a day. it works.
and ofcourse. excercise more. try burining around 500 calories a day and you should be good. thats 5 miles in a good 75% run.

You need breakfast to kick start your metabolism in the morning if you don’t eat your metabolism is going to be very slow and you won’t lose weight you need to eat in order to lose weight and no you can’t skip meals try eating healthier foods instead.
no you cant..believe it or not you get fatter if you dont eat…your body reacts in a way that makes more fat with the fat you have or somthing like that…just go out and exercise more =] still eat HAELTHY foods =]
