Can I trust him, shal I go out with him?

I like this guy, he likes me and were going on a date soon but the problem is he is kinda like 1 of those guys all the girls like and I think he knows it, hes good looking, fit, charming, funny, sexy voice lol anyways hes 18 and has shagged a lot of girls and I mean a lot, girls always want to sleep with him and he likes it obviously lol, he sed to me that those days are now all behind him and he wants to be in a real relationship again, he did have one girlfriend previous wich I think lasted 2 years but she cheated on him and then he never had a girlfriend afterwards anyways I realy like him but I dont know if I shud go out with him because of all the girls hes slept with, I dont know if I cant trust him to keep it in his pants, he sed I can trust him and he wants me to think of a way to prove he can keep it in his pants, he offered to let me stay at his for weeks and other stuff to prove it, im a virgin and he aint preasured me into sex, what shal I do? my mates think its all gona end in tears but I think im falling for him xx
