dad going thru my phone

I would NEVER EVER in a million years go thru my childs phone. He trusted you enough to get you a phone now he should trust you with this too.

Tell him that there is no reason he should not trust you that you are mature & know right from wrong, but also mean it.

well at your age 13-14 its normal you dont really need a phone at your age other than for emergencies and your dad is worried about you after getting this new thing he knows that you could if you wanted to, sex txt, call up sex numbers, talk to strangers, give them your details, try to meet up with someone ect and these things for a young girl to be doing arnt safe weather your doing them or not, hes worried about you and yes you can lock your phone but anyone can unlock it, usually you just press the 1 and * keys quickly, then the same to unlock it unless you lock it with a pin number for now just tell your dad what you use your phone for and that your not using it for anything else like sex txting or talking to random people I know its an invasion of privacy but when your your age, you dont have much privacy, youll get more as you grow older so for now just keep reassuring your dad that youve got nothing to hide in it and that your not doing anything he doesnt want you to do with it
