my brother hits me all the time,and I cant do nothing about it because hes on probation, well I am concidering emancipation but I dont know how to start to do that. my mom lets my brother hit me she dont care. my mom is a fall down drunk and my dad is not home most of the time, and I dont know what to do I am 14 and I want to move out but I dont know how to go about that either. so please help me I want to life my life and not be abused! so if you can help me will you e-mail me at buckcherryhottie@yahoo.com. thanxs
Dear buckcherryhotttie, Your brother is not allowed to touch you...that means no hitting, slapping, pushing etc. Your mother is not allowed to be fall down drunk either. These are all things that you need to discuss with a counsellor at school, or a trusted adult...also calling children's services would be a good place to start. We have laws that protect children who are living in your situation. YOu are not alone and they have experience and ways to help you. Sue...good luck
Yes call the probation officer, or even a child help line. I think you can legally move out once you are 16, however i suggest you try to get your family problems ironed out a bit. It's not easy, but hang in there.
if hes on probation just call his probation officer and tell him/her that hes doing that...if your not afraid to post this here then you shouldnt be afraid to tell an officer. good luck
Dont move out sooner or later your brother will move out trust me.i have to deal with the same same thing with my cousins

ask 2 move in with your bffs family until u can leagally move out.
