ok so I have been going out with a guy for over 3 years it was great we had some bad days and good days like everyone . he broke up with me almost 6 months ago and I cant get over him.. I actually think it’s because we still chill and have sex, I just cant live without him he tells me that he may’ get back to me.. for the past 6 months . idkk what to do how to convince him to get back with me ? how to end this or anything ? Honey, the most important question to ask yourself is what kind of girl do you want to be? Do you want to be the kind who can’t live without a boy by her side? Or do you want to be empowered, strong, and have enough self esteem that a boyfriend enhances your life not is your life? As long as you are letting him use you, sex without commitment, he is going to. Why should he make a commitment as long as you are willing to make love to him? You are a beautiful young woman, you need a boyfriend who cherishes and adores you and is thankful that you are in his life because you make him want to be a better man and not some yahoo who is stringing you along.
Honestly the best thing to do is (hard I know) show him that you do not need him by laying low for a while, go on some dates with other guys, be unavailable for a while, if he gets jealous or wonders WTF? sweetly, remind him that there is no commitment and that you are free to see and do whatever you like. If he really wants to get back together he will, but do not let yourself be used any longer.
