I agree, common sense and intelligence is not the same thing, however, running the world might not be as common as you think, it might require a very special kind of intelligence and a lot of group work and thinking

Yes, and the rest of them, like the masons the two brotherhoods etc might be included. I’m just thinking, everything is linked to everything, and it’s as if everything is pre-planned a certain way to control the masses, except for natural disasters which are not planned, hehehe

If you’re referring to conspiracy theories, then no. I don’t think there is any secret group or organisation in the shadows secretly pulling strings and deciding the fates of nations, the global economy, or the rest of it. Just because a group shrouds itself in symbols, includes some famous historical figures, and also happens to have a lot of money, doesn’t necessarily mean that it controls the world.

I honestly believe it’s the extremely wealthy that have more control, whether they are intelligent or not. The politicians need money to campaign to keep their jobs, so they keep the rich happy by doing their bidding in government. I would name at least one person known for this, but I don’t really want to cause controversy.

I believe that there are conspiracy groups but none that actually ‘control’ the world. I think the groups to be more like people who have got too much time on their hands, and become slowly deluded that they are in this secret group controlling the world. Like, yeah, you are in a secret club…. Woo I was too when I was 11. :|

I’m not sure the adjective “really intelligent” would describe them adequately… moreso machiavellian. These people are fotrunate and use their fortune to influence certain governance in their favor… so that they may perpetually maintain their lofty status.

Fraternal orders are waning and although the Bavarian Illuminati managed to co-opt the Scottish order of Freemasons over 200 years ago… the past century has seen a reduction in any significance either order exhibits today.

This doesn’t mean that there has been a changing of the guard. The same cartel of families have managed to retain power for the last 200 years through their control of central banking houses… the majority of western media outlets… favorable governance… and the obfuscation these institutions afford them. They do not control a plurality of the worlds governments, but they have the means to exert heavy influence upon those governments.

This is not far fetched. No one is oblivious to the lobbying that occurs within the United States. President Kennedy was killed because he was intent to use his authority as President to dismantle the monied elite’s avenues of influence by competing with the Federal Reserve through issuance of US silver certificates… by stripping the CIA of its power… and by refusing to continue the US military industrial complex. President Reagan… who initially took a position of staunch opposition towards the Washington power cabal as he eschewed the proposal of a vice president who had been director of the CIA… was finally broken from any opposition after the assassination attempt upon his life. After he relinquished any authority he would wield… the US military industrial complex gained a new head of steam interfering in Central America… drumming up the Cold War with the USSR… spending billions on the Star Wars projects… etc.

We see the tell tale signs of influence today. Presidential candidate Barack Obama… campaigned against Hilary Clinton’s Washington insider status. He denounced her proposal for mandatory health care as the sign of influence by the insurance companies. Something changed his mind. It is no mystery who changed it. The Insurance companies wrote the bill. They have the means to buy the favorable legislation… we are inundated by commercials for their goods. Just as the case of 9/11… the elite have the means to carry out the most insidious crime… and never suffer the repercussions.

The world is no different than your school days. You see the popular kids getting all the rank and all the votes while some geek does his homework so he could show up for the game. Sometimes that same geek makes a stand and exposes the popular kid. It doesn’t matter who rules the world. All that matters is that we don’t sit by and watch the rulers take advantage of their situation. They are just messengers of messages that geeks wrote. Its just that we don’t pay attention to the geeks so someone has to be put up there that will actually be heard. They are just messengers and when they take advantage of their posts we will remove them. Lol.
