Why are beef, chicken, turkey, and fish the most common meats and others not?

They are probably easier to get a hold of and ‘produce’ quicker than other meats especially as the animals can survive in most conditions where there is mass civilisation as far as I know.

in US ur statement is true but worldwide the most common white meat is chicken and red meat is goat. beef is not eaten much in other parts of the world espically asia probaly cause its diffucult to keep like they need too much food and care i don’t know(just guessin). i heard this in a global warming class i took before and alos when u google most common meat u’ll find goat and chicken.
